I’m still holding out hope they figure it out after the summer and sneak in, but it’s waining honestly. The 6-game, and the dumb decisions made with the players who miraculously aren’t on it. It’s just too much right now. They’re going to get porked at least 2 or 3 more times I think. Lawson, Garbutt, Fox, Lawler and Wheatfall probably by LD or shortly after. The question is whether those guys will be enough to overcome the weak links, both on the field and the brains of the coaching staff. It’s looking less and less likely, but there’s still that glimmer. There was a western team that played a LOT of shitty football at the beginning of 2001..

If they have Hubert, do they really need a Canadian DT as well? I mean maybe now with all the injuries. At full health you’ve got Brady, 3 OL, Woli, Ford, and (imo) 1 DL OR Kramdi on the field. I’m not sure where this mindset that we must start 8 Canadians comes from.

That’s almost unbelievable. Thomas getting double the amount of snaps as Woods or Adams is unconscionable given the stages of their respective careers.

Lucky looked pretty cashed the last few games he played. I think he might be done. That being said, a bagged out Lucky would probably still bring more value to the offence than Mitchell or Wilson.

100% agree with this. I’ve always had a soft spot for Holm, as a guy with the same frame lol, but yeah he’s not physical enough for HB. Great at tracking the ball, decent enough vertical too. His closing speed is phenomenal, just the perfect skill set for todays CFL safety.
