Yes sir, they would. You simply cannot throw away games where you have 20 and 23 point leads. In the game tonight we saw where one team opened up a 2-score lead and was able to lock down the win, even though they gave up a late TD, by getting a few clutch first downs that enabled them to run out the clock.

Stamps did us a huge favour tonight. We need to send good vibes to the Lions and Shmoes now. If the Esks can do us a favour and beat the Riders twice Riders would finish 11-7 if they beat BC. If the Riders lose to BC the Esks need to beat them only once. If we can beat Calgary twice the Stamps would finish 11-7. If Calgary should lose to BC we only have to beat them once. If we can win out our games we will finish 12-6 and we win 1st place in the West and host the WSF but we need help from the Esks and maybe the Lions.

Riders lose. That should quiet the trolls.

Every team has positives and negatives. If there are lots of positives I believe your chances of winning improve. But the opposite is also likely to be true. We have been losing of late because despite the positives, there are too many negatives. You ignore the negatives at your own peril and I believe good teams focus on getting rid of the negatives. That is why they try to avoid turnovers, minimize penalties, eliminate errors, etc. That is not being negative or emotional. It's pragmatic. What happens if, after a while, despite the best of intentions, the balance of positives to negatives remains askew? Loyalty to players and coaches that aren't good enough isn't going to change our fortunes. Getting the right players and coaches in here might. We've had almost 6 years of this regime and 1 playoff win to show for it. Do you think that's a good balance of positive and negative? Once you have determined you need better coaches and players you have to change them out. How else are you going to do it? That's how other teams do it.

1. Our defense collapsed to lose against Toronto, Sask, and Montreal. It got destroyed against Hamilton. It is not good enough. Not personnel, not coaches. 2. Oline has not been good. AH failed a drug test. Our receivers don't fight for balls and have too many drops. The QB'ing is inexperienced. Lapo's playcalling is predictable and easily defended against. As fans we love our Bombers but we get carried away with a little success and think we are better than we really are. Then we are crushed when they fall back to earth. We are an average team and our record will reflect that in the end. What some folks around here can't seem to accept is that if Walters and O'Shea were as good as those people think they are, after six years we should be much better than just an average team. We aren't. We need great players and great coaches that know how to get the most out of those players. We need superior game planning and swift, effective in-game adjustments. We need player development strategies that produce future stars and we need accountability from players and coaches alike. There is no doubt our players and coaches want to win and win badly. The problem is so does everyone else and some of those people do a better job at building winning football teams than we do. Until we, as an organization, find a way to get the best of those people working for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers we are going to continue to see results like one playoff win in six years. Wade Miller, our patience has worn thin and you are now out of time. How much longer is this going to take?

We just need to get over the idea that we are better than we really are. Neither our players or coaches are good enough to win a championship barring a miracle. Serious upgrades are needed.

This is all we have left to cling to this year. Friggin sad.

Yes, I think there's an argument that each year the team has been better than the one the year before. Walters has improved the talent on this team especially in the first few years. O'Shea and his coordinators improved the coaching. Eventually the progress seemed to plateau and is now trending down. We are an average team with average players and average coaching. In my opinion, to get to the next level, we will need better players and better coaches.

Very sad to hear about Richie Hall's brother. Our thoughts and prayers are with Richie Hall at this very difficult time.

Is it some kind of delicious irony where the Riders concuss him in the WSF and end our season as revenge for last year? Isn't it enough that you embarrassed us last week? You people are evil.

Giving a fragile QB to Mike O'Shea is not funny. God is a maniac.

I just can't understand this move at all. He could get concussed doing up his chin strap. With each snap he takes I'll be cringing.

Concussions will do that to you. Your judgment is a little more impaired with each ring of the bell. Poor guy. I wonder who the next Simoni Lawrence will be.

Think of it this way, what if another coach comes in here, brings some great coordinators with him, and we win multiple cups. Wouldn't you be okay with O'Shea leaving then? I know I would. Even 1 cup before I die and I'd be so grateful. Besides, we could have a little ceremony, honour O'Shea and thank him for all his hard work, and wish him the best in his new endevour. Heck, we could name a street after him or you could name your dog after him. No end of ways to say thanks.

Making the playoffs isn't that hard. Winning in the playoffs is and that has been the problem.

I'm not seeing a lot of love for OSH. Even some of his staunchest supporters are (finally) having doubts.

It has been reported that Lapo has very upset at not being allowed the Sask interview. Very upset. He felt it was within his contract to be interviewed for other opportunities. What did we expect from a disgruntled employee?

He's had many years to make the change. Why now are you willing to turn on him?
