Hope everyone has been well, by the way. I’ve taken on a new job and have been swamped, missed a lot of CFL news. Can’t wait for the start of the season. Enjoying the Jays in the mean time.

DT is one of the most passionate advocates for the CFL out there, I hope he remains with the league in some capacity. Whether that be calling games in Winnipeg, or going back to TSN.

I always forget Darby can play any coverage position on D, Cam Kelly is a pretty solid SAM in Hamilton so I assume he’d play elsewhere

You guys have lost talent, but retained the core that made you successful. You might not obliterate everyone like 2021, but you’ll still be a very good team.

All I’ve seen is that he was a rare bright spot on the Elks D, was their nominee for MODP which may not mean much on that roster. Definitely curious about $ for he and Sankey.

Crief was a CFL all star in 2019, he is in no way shape or form overrated.

Moncrief is extremely good, so is Sankey. Very happy with these two signings.

I feel like Bailey will emerge as the deep threat that Adams/Lawler have been in the past.

Lacey would’ve been a good WIL, but even if that’s the case, $250k makes no sense. If WJ is making $225… $250k for Lacey is wild.

Naylor reports that Kenny Lawler has committed to signing with the Elks… $300k. Unreal. Report is also that they may sign Deon Lacey for $250k. Lacey is good, but not $250k good.

He saw decently regular time in Carolina this season, he’ll be picked up by another NFL team for sure.
