We dont have any qb that is gonna stomp on any defenses throat, or consistently throw down field and convert on second and long. We can smash the ball as good as anyone though. We have won cups with shitty production on offense in the past. Why not this year?

Well, #17s mechanics are horid, does not set his feet when he throws, throws off his back foot, and as far as reading a defense, that is up to debate. Aint really starting material if you ask me. Anyways im gonna enjoy another TEAM win. Peace.

Sorry to tell you but Strev has the same playbook as Matty. Sure he has his bit plays in certain situations but you cant rely on that for 4 quarters. What has Strev shown that he can huck it 20 plus times a game and be successful? Something beyond it being "insane"

How exactly do you see Strev succeeding beyond what Matty is doing? Yards passing? Points scored? TOP? First downs? Will he change what Lapo calls?

Nichols and his situation reminds of Denzel Washington's character in Remember The Titans, one loss and hes fired. The anti Nichols fans at this point are rabid. Matt did not shoot the lights out, not even close. But hes still our best option. Strevs aint even close to being ready to lead our offense through a whole game. Hes a bit player, any who think he s ready for prime time are dreaming instead of seeing.

Blitzing is fine, and preferred in my books. But, if you do that, you have to have the guys behine the front 7 than can play man up, and win the one-one battles. Not sure, that anyone not named Rose, can do that for us. Either our players are not playing to expectations set but the coaches, or, the coaches are putting players in positions where they wont succeed on a consistent basis.

Crap? Idk man. Have you forgotten the Reinbold days, Kerwin Bell, Lefors, Mack, Mike Kelly, Asper, Ramonce Taylor, Max Hall, Justin-loose-Boltz, Jim Daley, Jyles, ectectectectect.... Yeah im kinda down we **** the bed the last two weeks but the regime has brought this franchise back to respectability. Blowing it up is not im my cards.

I agree we will see what we are made of on Thursday. The coaches are not going anywhere this season. This regime has made is pretty clear they will not make any big in season changes. And frankly, when has a in-season change of position or head coach change resulted in dramatic change? As for Matty, the guy HAS to show his team he can man up and lead this bloody team. Hes gotta step up and put some bloody numbers up. First downs, yards, points and show some damn fire. Time to man-up Matty. What I have seen, its all mental. He is just not seeing the field beyond his first read.

When is the last time we have hit a seem route? Anything over the middle over 12yards? Whats a corner route?

Adams blocking down field will be hard to replace.

His footwork and mechanics need work. Throws off his back foot alot, that will get you in trouble in the pros, especially a field as wide as ours. He has a huge tendency to just use his arm when making throws, has a tough time stepping into them and is stiff in the upper body. He has alot going for him, but his footwork need attention if he wants to be more than a bit player.

The same guy who played lights out against bc and edm in playoff losses? Beat the second best defense last year in the semi? Takes a whole team to win playoff games. Thats another fact...

Our commish sure seems to he spreading his sticks into the wind this offseason. Not sure all this outward effort is good timing given the CA talks. Now dropping this territorial draft stuff. The opitics on all these moves look bad, if fans dont see some immediate benefit, the pitch forks will be out by August.
