re Thomas  - just who is a more suited candidate? If we are going with Lawton as a regular you need to have another national as a backup dt.
Just look at the free agent listing, there are at most 4 national dt available and only one of which (ACHEAMPONG Samuel) has more than 2 tackles (Acheampong has 8 and can't stay healthy) Thomas had 23 tackles ly. .
You think Smeckle should have his spot with 6 tackles last year?.
The anti Thomas sentiment around here is unbelievable given his record and effort every game

Yes Rourke Evans Kelly Brown & Fajardo all have great talent and potential but how many have been multi year consistent winners
Every one of them is still a fledgling ,,, they won't all stay that way but right now every one is inconsistent
Zach is a winner and he uses his experience to keep us overcoming all odds
Don't discount his stats too much ,,, they are pretty good

Glad I was away the last couple days. If we lose its on MOS, if we win it's despite of him is the summary of the past couple pages. SmH...This topic really gets tedious. MOS is a first rate CFL coach that we would have to be off our rocker to fire.

I do not understand the negativity towards Buck and Zach / good journeymen who have been mostly gettin er done ... for half a decade

Since August 1 (objectively, I believe, when the Bombers' season turned around), I'd say that the two QBs are pretty similar.
Collaros: 204/283=72.1%, Harris: 190/262=72.5% 
Collaros:  2613/204=12.8yd/completion, Harris: 2392/190=12.5yd/completion
Collaros: 1TD for every 20.21 passes attempted, Harris: 1TD for every 20.15 passes attempted
Collaros: 1INT for every 40.43 passes attempted, Harris: 1INT for every 43.67 passes attempted
I have no idea how to calculate QB efficiency.
And,
Collaros: 9W - 1L, Harris: 4W - 4L (only played in 8 of 11 SK games since Aug. 1)
I know who I want as my QB on Saturday.
 
 

Man there's a lot of crying and dragging of bottom lips... Jesus. Let's just wait and see what the roster looks like. Whatever they come up with for this Saturday won't be the reason, IF we lose.... It'll be a lot bigger than just one or two roster moves. 

It was a factor in our losses for sure. The only factor? Nope. There were multiple reasons we lost that game and most of them were not on the coaching. My objection is that you guys say that with better coaching we would have won...and it's only partially true..we also needed about a half dozen brain cramps, busted coverages, and poor QB decisions,  back as well. Had we played a clean game up to the level of our lineup we had it's quite possible that roster usage may not have mattered

I have no ignorance of what's going on. I just don't feel the need to rehash criticisms or praise over and over again. It is a fruitless exercise that ends up just annoying everyone. I tend to skew towards positivity when it comes to MOS but not over the top. I just don't feel that the mistakes he has made have outweighed all the great coaching he has also brought to the table. I doubt you find many Bomber fans who do, even those that are very knowledgable about the game. I also don't make outlandish claims to justify my opinion. I respect your opinion a lot Booch but sometimes the hyperbole in your comments is over the top and it ends up taking away from your argument instead of adding to it.

We were not lucky to win any of our Grey Cups and we were not lucky to get to any of them. Anyone who says otherwise is posting with an agenda. Sorry Booch but that's some kind of bullshit man. You wanna advance your argument about MOS, I get that, but don't make up **** and sell it as fact. Yea, we lost 2 Grey Cup games in a row, but we never played up to our level in either game and we lost both by very tight scores. We were not some kind of smoke and mirror team that got exposed in the big game. That's a crock. Saying stuff like that is a real slap in the face to our players who worked their tails off for us fans to have that chance.

Of course there is a need to always get better but HB is one of the toughest spots to play and he won't be easy to just replace. If he wants tons of $ then ya may be time to go but otherwise there isn't a big need to get rid of him.  The other guys you mentioned are all old and broken and there is a need to replace them. 
Much rather move Holm to safety to replace BA.

Saying we definitely need to be moving on from Holm is just nuts. How can you compare him to over the hill expensive vets? 

so I know this topic of our roster composition has been debated at some length here, but lately I've found myself thinking about the second game in the BC home-at-home.  We lost Neuf and Woli for that game and we replaced them with two imports -- Lucky and Randolph -- without having to disrupt any other positions.  Normally when a team loses multiple national starters at once, the ripple effect will hit other parts of the roster as the next-best-Canadians become starters regardless of what position they play, which makes injuries to national starters pretty devastating.
It seems like playing a surplus of Canadians -- especially forum whipping boys like Kramdi and Thomas -- has enabled us to have the roster flexibility to deal with injuries that would have crippled the team in past years.

Hot take: Wilson has been better at running the wedges than Streveler was at any point this year.

Most of Schoen is off the books, Lawler had a good chunk on the six game. No Lawson. Biggie off now too. I have a hard time believing they are up against it. I honestly think things look good to bring a lot of guys back and pay them what they're worth. Renegotiate this year and use that 6 game money as signing bonuses

My vote would be Wilson because he showed potential in the games he played in preseason. Mind you, I’ve never been a coach in the CFL or even WHSFL.
