Their defense is going to give up a lot of points. Other than Burnham there isn't a real deep threat. Durant never was a full time starter with the Stamps & is really a possession receiver. He doesn't beat anyone deep. Maybe he'll have a break out season starting for the first time & with Reilly throwing the deep ball. Who knows what Carter can do as he is a total eff up.

Both were great qbs but I have to choose Tom Clements. I honestly don't know if we would have beaten BC in the WDF in 84 if Dieter Brock was our qb. Clements was indeed cerebral & he could scramble around extending plays something Brock could not do. Brock though was incredibly accurate & could put the ball into places other qbs couldn't. Two different qbs. Two completely different styles of play. I have to go with Clements as the second qb.

Tom Clements brought the Bombers to a new level with his play. Won the 84 Grey Cup & was dominant from 1984 thru 1987. He did what Brock couldn't do with the same team.

No one is saying it's a plan to screw the players but it doesn't make a lot of sense. I expected the CFL to substantially raise the salary cap to account for the new qb salaries as well as more $$$ for everyone else & yet it doesn't seem like that will happen. Instead we get a cap on coaches, scouting & management. We get teams only using one helmet this season instead of two.

Next season it's going to be all about winning the Democratic Presidential Nomination as she resigned as Secretary Of State. So, she won't be battling world hunger & climate change as she did in the past. I'm hoping a little less preachy & a lot more political intrigue.

The players didn't demand the Lions & the Stamps pay the amounts of $$$ they did for Reilly & BLM? That was the decision of both clubs which was totally irresponsible. if they didn't have the money then they both teams never should have done that. Now they've set new heights for paying qbs while other players see a fraction of that & of course want more. I don't begrudge the players wanting more as they put their bodies & long term health at risk. I wouldn't be so quick to blame the players. The Stamps because of that contract have lost a lot of players including Chris Matthews. Stamps loss is our gain.
