We dressed 7 DL. i expect a mix of 3 & 4 man fronts & blitz packages to rattle Arbuckle who is on the biggest stage of his career. Hopefully, the OL have some pride & remember the ass whipping they suffered last game & have something to prove. Yep. they're hosting the GC so I'm hoping Walters is more cut throat this off season & jettisons the dead wood.

Bighill definitely needs to be cut loose, gauthier may be serviceable as a backup only so take a shave. Same with the others you mentioned. Somehow though, can't see it happening.... for reasons you know why (head coach faves)...

Noeller, how can you or anyone say that from 2019 it's all about the 2025 Grey Cup? It's not. You can't just pick a year, circle the calendar & say that's the year we are definitely going to win. With rosters constantly in a flux from free agency, players from 2019 aging out, coaching changes, injuries, etc, you win for today. Not tomorrow. The 2025 season starts tomorrow the day after the Grey Cup.

Ford is Canadian so he'll get paid. Maybe not bringing back guys like Bighill, Wilson, Schoen & a few others will free up some money.

One of those guys was a buddy in one of my university classes back in the day. He was a Safeway store manager at the time when they all went to Vancouver for the 1990 Grey Cup. Watching the NFL as I refuse to watch TSN constantly telling me just how great the Argos are even without Kelly.

Edmonton Eskimos/Elks won 14 Grey Cups. We beat the Esks in the 1990 Grey Cup. Jackie Parker & Tom Wilkinson never played for the Elks. They played for the Esks. Tre Ford never played for the Eskimos. I call them the Esks prior to 2021. The Elks after that. Schoen wants big bucks. We proved we can win without him. I'd keep Lawler over him & puts some of that money saved to sign Ford.

I was watching about 35 minutes of TSN coverage today of the Grey Cup. I had to turn it off as the talk of how great the Argos are just kept on & on. Yeah, occasionally they'd mention Zach but barely no reference of Oliveira for the Bombers. LaPo did say if the Bombers took care of business that they'd win. Jim Barker, who never gives any credit to Winnipeg on anything was all Argos. He thinks the Argos DL will kill our OL. Now, maybe they will but I think redemption is on the minds of our OL. So, I just turned it off. **** TSN. They just can't stay neutral. They also had some random dude talking about Grey Cup betting on Fan Duel listing the odds for this & that. Thankfully, I'm not a gambler so most of this talk just goes in my one ear & out the other. Dude was definitely leaning to the Argos winning, surprise, surprise.... Here's one stat that they never talk about when betting. The Argos are undefeated since 1983 at the Grey Cup. Eight straight wins which is why they're miles ahead of us & Edmonton in most GC championships with 18. That is an incredible streak but all streaks come to an end... Plus we have never beaten Toronto in the GC ever going back to the 1940's. They can't keep that **** up. Argos are waaaaay overdue for a loss. Bet accordingly.

An inexperienced Jones is still better than a cooked Bighill. It's no coincidence we've played better against the run since Bighill got hurt. He's done as a player & yet still thinks he can play. And Osh will give it to him. That's the scary part.
