Random Death Notice 2018
He was so sick for so long. RIP.

Game Day Thread - League Opener: Eskies
I think he'll have it easier against the Als. He'll have more chances and he won't wait nearly as long. RE: First INT. I hate that (I forget who) had two arms around the ball but on the ground, after the whistle, the Esks pulled it away. I hate that rule that whoever gets up with it, gets it. I hate it.

What is it about Nichols injury that makes you think he’ll be out longer than 6 weeks? And, why do you think he would come back early and re-injure himself?

I'm sure they'll continue to lie, they'll just do it for more money elsewhere.

Depth Charts June 14th Bombers vs Eskimos
I would have Demski backing up Fogg on return duties.

Depth Charts June 14th Bombers vs Eskimos
I'm saying that trying to determine how success an entire scheme is based on whether Bighill is in the right place at the right time in his first game is ludicrous. It will take a few games before they function as a cohesive group. We already know that Bighill can tackle and CAN be the MLB based on previous experience.

Depth Charts June 14th Bombers vs Eskimos
Absolutely, I just don't think we can determine the success or failure of the Hall defence on one game. I would say by game 4, we'll know for sure.

Depth Charts June 14th Bombers vs Eskimos
Bighill the "QB" of the D. It's not plug and play. There are plenty of variables that go into having a cohesive defence. Just like the o-line, you can have all the talent but they need to learn to work together.

Around the League: 2018 Season
That I agree with. I don't put much value in preseason games other than to see individual play and not to worry about team accomplishments.

Around the League: 2018 Season
Time will tell. I still have the Bombers ahead of the Riders for all the reasons I said and have heard no rebuttal beyond "experience", which is dubious at best. Why wouldn't they count?

Around the League: 2018 Season
Collaros, your starter, hasn't won in how many games? And, playing behind that O-line? I'm fine starting a rookie QB, with our O-line and our running game. Let's not forget how often Nichols has been questioned over the years as a "game manager". If he's that, then why can't a rookie succeed here??

But neither do the Riders.

Around the League: 2018 Season
Yes, I answered the question. The Bombers should be higher because we have more depth, a better o-line and superior Canadian talent. Bridge has played in 17 games and Collaros hasn't won a game in years. Not much to look at there for experience.

Depth Charts June 14th Bombers vs Eskimos
Yeah we'll know after one game and couple weeks of practice with a new player whether or not a whole scheme will work.

Depth Charts June 14th Bombers vs Eskimos
Interesting indeed, but I think that means Ross actually sees the field more on short-yardage packages and, possibly, right after 3rd down conversions. Just based on how they organized it last year.

Around the NHL 2017/2018
Just when you thought the situation in Ottawa couldn't get worse, you find out that they are so, so much worse already. What a horrible organization.

Around the League: 2018 Season
Ahead of the Riders who have much less depth, a poor O-line, and not much Canadian talent. Both teams have huge question marks at QB.

I'm finally caught up on Westworld. Just watched "Kiksuya" (SE02EP08). That may be my favourite episode of the series, so far. It hammered everything home.
