I would do it in a heartbeat, even if we couldn't re-sign him. A late first and second round pick is not worth what Stone could contribute to a playoff run, IMO.

If you could get Stone for a first and second this year, you wouldn't do it?

Yeah, I'm not sure we need to add a winger.

Whoa, whoa whoa... You can't make claims like this when Reed is still a GM.

I didn't hear that. That's good news but I'm not sure the Jets would be in for him (at the rate he needs). I guess you would give something up if you're eager to add him for a playoff run. If, if, if, you're interested in dealing for him, you need to sign an extension to complete the trade. No way you pay big for a rental, IMO.

Scratch Brassard off the list... Panthers acquire Brassard, Sheahan from Penguins for Bjugstad and McCann

Around The NHL 2018/2019
I think it's crazy that anyone would think the Jets would trade Roslo. Or am I crazy? I mean, they drafted him and have been grooming him, I think, expecting him to step into the 2nd line centre position in the next year or two. It feels very un-Jets like for them to trade him at this point. Stone would be awesome but at what cost? I think the team that gets him will be the one that he signs with long term.

I'm about to click the link and read up on Bond, James Bond, but looking at that pic... How tall is he?? I'll know in a minute.

Winnipeg Ice
That's not a big surprise. Wayne Fleming arena is pretty small. They're will be some on the waiting list that won't get seats until the new arena opens in a couple of years.

I used to have Westerman as my profile pic but he left. I switched it up to Loffler. Provided the Bombers walk Loffler, are there any Nationals that MBB would like me to put in my profile pic next year? Someone we're not particularly fond of for the money?

And, revenues are not increasing. So either the players want a bigger slice of the existing revenue and/or they want other changes to protect them. It will be interesting to see their proposal.

I've put my deposit down for two seats. Maybe, should have got three but I'll start here.

Upcoming Movies
I've never cared for Shazam. I'm not optimistic that will change with this movie.

They're taking deposits starting tomorrow at 9am: https://www.winnipegice.ca/

Right, but three more years of football could completely make being a police officer unattainable physically. It's not about the next three years but the next thirty.

It's too bad that Goossen is going back to BC. He's a wonderful ambassador for the Stop The Violence and it would have been great to keep him in the community. But, he's going home, so it makes sense.

Whaaaaaa? Wow, did not see that coming. Good luck, Matt!

Manitoba Moose
I could see the Moose moving to Saskatoon. TNSE could even make the announcement around their trip to Regina next year.

Winnipeg Ice
I'm putting a deposit down as soon as I can. I only want a partial share but this is ideal for my family.

Winnipeg Ice
I've taken my oldest son to several Moose games and so has my mother. But, I would rather go to a WHL game, TBH. I'll split my money with the Bombers, the Ice, and the Goldeyes.

Wrestling
I thought it was a nice segment. It really shows how both you and him relied on one-another. He's not where he is unless he has a ring to work in and you provided it.

The Environment Thread
There are lots of things we can do to address our waste and I would start there. Incremental changes to farming are necessary and I hope they can be done without killing off the last of the family farms or affecting the supply chain. Ultimately, I think we're going to rely more on legumes for our diet in the future and meat will be produced in labs. It's not terribly appealing, I know, but we'll get over it. It's not about eliminating meat but reducing our reliance on it and the environmental impact.

Small shout out? I thought it was a big plug and quite insightful. Too bad he didn't have the next show name and date at his fingertips. You need to train him better!
