Playoff Predictions
I predicted Edmonton would beat Montreal before the season began, so I'm going to stick with it. As much as I'm happy for KJ, I don't care if Montreal wins or not. In fact, I kind of want to see Edmonton win, just so that there is some doubt in Edmonton as whether they should fire Maas. The longer he's there, the better it is for the Bombers. I also would like at least one of my preseason projections to be right.

If I said in June, "I hope Collaros wins the Grey Cup this year," I would have been run out of the province.

Stamps vs. Lions
Not a great year to be showcasing the CFL globally. Not really Ambrosie's fault on that but his timing has been horrible. The good thing is no one in Toronto noticed. I would be so afraid of losing their support.

Stamps vs. Lions
Medlock misses punting to him.

Lankford is a bad receiver.

Stamps vs. Lions
And they would be right. The score will likely flatter the Lions but they are gawd awful.

Stamps vs. Lions
We can for sure but it's really tough to win on the road in Calgary in the playoffs. We weren't really road warriors this year.

You're in the wrong thread.

3-0 Stamps. Game over.

Stamps vs. Lions
Calgary are going to score on this first drive and put the game out of reach.

US Politics
I'm sure any child attending the WH Halloween party hates brown people just like the president. They're being raised as good lil' GOPers.

I'mkeeping Helle amd Ville too, right. I'm not sure about Samberg, I would listen. That being sw, no one would trade for him unless they could talk to him first.

The irony of the Rider fans complaining about the headshot...
-
Edm @ Ssk Game Day
Yeah, the first headshot they actually call and TSN goes nuts over it.

I get dumber every time I listen to this panel. Top Wonderlic score among them is probably a two.

I think this is a non-playoff off year, so we may as well go all-in on the refresh... If, I can, I'm moving Little and Perreault. Let them go for picks. In fact, everyone on the team is available except Morrissey, Connor, Sheif, Laine and Ehlers. Everyone else is available for a price.

I'll keep Vesa cause he's cheaper and we have him for longer. Not sure either are going to make much of a mark in the NHL, TBH.

I can't listen to this game. So much Rider stroking... I'm going back to the Georgia-Florida game.

Never. I wonder where all the crying is about it from Rider fans now? They were certainly crying earlier this year.

Clear helmet-to-helmet that the refs obviously saw and called. Ooops, it's the Riders, forgot... No call.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
- The Music Thread
Summer before grade 10, when this came out. For me, it was more important than grunge. Although, grunge probably had a larger influence on me in the long run. I had already had my musical awakening but this showed me that music could be political. I remember listening to this album in an unfinished basement in Tuxedo, thinking, "**** you, I won't do what you tell me." The irony that I was in one of the most affluent, privileged neighbourhoods is not lost on me now. If you're ever inclined, Alan Cross (Ongoing History of New Music) has a few podcasts on Rage, their rise, fall, and rise again. https://omny.fm/shows/ongoing-history-of-new-music/rage-against-the-machine-part-1- The Music Thread
