They're back because the they've virtually eradicated the virus there. They don't put up with the anti-everything whiners. Same for New Zealand. We need vaccines in arms and evidence that it's working to kill off the virus. Unfortunately, we're not going to see that until fall. Might be too late for full stadiums this year. Hopefully, we can do a social distance Argo model, with few people in the stands this summer. But, nothing like we're seeing in Australia and New Zealand.

Motivation is that if you even it up, no one can say you're biased. The refs are human too and the NHL does nothing to help them. The NHL only cares when they're embarrassed. They were embarrassed and worried about the gambling aspect, so they made a move.

Once they shrugged their shoulders at children being murdered, the debate was over. They want everything outlawed but their guns. It's a sick, sick culture.

I'm no constitutional expert but this seems like the appropriate decision. It recognizes that there is overlap in jurisdiction on the environment and that provinces are not solely impacted by their own environmental decision. I appreciate that this was challenged. Even though I support the carbon pricing, I think it's important to test the boundaries of Fed-Prov jurisdiction and POGG.

Fiscal conservatives hate UBI. Hate it. They've killed pilot projects all over on it. All the left parties are in favour of it. I've never heard someone on the right push it.

I remember the Provincial NPD in the final years in power. They threw money at "good" causes but for the wrong reasons and it wasn't evidence based. There was a lot of good ideas and a lot of stuff just thrown at the wall but it all lacked the proper policy base. Despite knowing better, they got desperate to make positive changes in all sorts of areas and failed miserably. And, everything they tried, seem to blow up. It was also a time when their best MLAs were gone.

I agree. I don't really have a problem with Crosby being a whiner, though. His whining is correct, IMO. Just like the skilled players before him, he has played with so much obstruction and interference through his career, it's crazy. CMcD doesn't complain the same way but he deals with the same thing and the NHL just won't actually enforce the rules.

They ignored it for several days. Only when they found out the shooter might not be white, did they bring it up. Fox is part of the GOP. It's time they established some real election laws down there to clean things up.
