I'm excited to sit down and watch tonight's game. Feels good to have the CFL back. I'm even looking forward to the Reklaws theme for Friday Night Football.

That's what I was thinking. No, Pizza Hotline (spit), Kubota, etc. I'm hoping they all come back. Nice to see some new sponsors. I've got to get some of that local beer but I don't think they have it upstairs. Probably for the best, I only have two children left and don't really want to sell either off to afford stadium craft beer.

Refing was average... so, much better than usual! I was surprised at the discipline on both sides of the ball given that this was the first game of the year with no pre-season. Incredible, really.

Dancing remains a no-no here. You can have 1,500 people at a wedding but you can't dance. You can have 30,000 people, maskless but vaxxed, at the stadium but no dancing.

But, why, why, why, do they show him as the Bombers are on offence? They do it all the time and twice last night. Poor Hardrick trying to quiet the crowd down. Usually, they do it during the military appreciation - huge cheers - right when the Bombers are trying to call a play.

One thing they can do to improve the gate entry, which wasn't great for gate 4, coming off the buses, is having staff direct people. Let people know where the shortest lines are and what's going on. If you got off the bus between 6 and 6:30, the line was huge and it wasn't clear that you could move around. Only when you got close, could you see. Hopefully, they can improve that experience for the next game. But, I doubt we'll see a crowd like that for the Argos.

De Grasse has never entered an Olympic event that he hasn't medaled in. Crazy. I just watched the replay he was a rocket. He seemed faster than any other runner out there. Also, just watched the replay of the 5,000M final. Great race for Mo Ahmed. Pulled away for silver. I just wish he was closer to the lead coming into the final lap and he may have taken it.

Bonus HH to Dancin' Gabe. Great to see him out there socially distanced, shifting to the beat (and definitely not illegally dancing).

I can only speak to what I saw.... The young man who scanned my card wasn't checking ID. Just scan and go. Also, security reminded him TWICE to stay in one place and not try to work up and down the line, potentially missing people.

I think that they're set up at either end of the stadium, on the main floor. For the upper west side, I got two beers upon arrival but they only had one credit card machine and that machine had troubles getting a good signal. I was lucky that I got those beers early because I wasn't going to stand in those long lines.

1. Oliveira - took a quarter but he found his legs. Ground and pound. 2. The leaders on both sides of the ball - Willie and Zach. Both led by example and produced great games. 3. Bombers D - Lots of questions about the secondary but, overall, a tremendous performance to hold the Ti-Cats off the board after the first drive. HH - Nelson. Took a bad penalty but stepped up on P/K returns and still lined up on offence to get some yards.

Okay, jusy arrived. Long lines to get in but gates just opened. Bus was quick and smooth along rapid transit corridor. I'm at gate 4 and they're encouraging people to go to other gates.
