If you think that the West is already too soft on Russia, which they have been, they're going to stay far away from putting any meaningful sanctions on China. They didn't even flinch when China imposed it's will on Hong Kong.

China is Russia's saviour and has already lowered the cost of grain sales to Russia. If we're going to crush Russia, which is what the West really needs to do, until they submit, they'll need to take on China too. We're are entering a new cold war - Europe and North America - Russia and China.

And, the XFL has a partnership to do just that with the NFL. If the NFL had no interest in a development league, they wouldn't partner with anyone for development. And, they just did.

I think you're just moving the goal posts. The NFL is always looking for partners who they can work with. They just don't want to put their own money up.

Ukraine is not a NATO country. Russia is a nuclear capable country and you want to go and fight them? FFS. Appropriate and decisive sanctions would work. But, no one in Europe had the courage to do it. US doesn't either.

XFL and NFL have an agreement to test new rules, develop coaches and test new equipment. It's all but a development league. Players development will follow, if the XFL succeeds. Young players want a path to the NFL. Spring leagues offer this. It's appealing for players.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I love that the Bombers get a deal but hate that an experienced player gets treated like that. But, they should fix it in the CBA. Get bonuses added to rookie deal if you gain measurable experience. Not a big bump but enough to reward them for experience. I don't want to go back to where the player holds the team hostage. Or, where the team holds the player hostage.
