2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
I don't have a fundamental problem with changing the length of the field from 110 to 100 yards. A change in the width of the field would play a more significant role changing the game, IMO. The width could impact each play, where as the length would only impact the game on a more macro level. Possibly allowing more scoring? This may reduce the number of plays before scoring.

He did bring up the change to 100 yards earlier. It was the first time in recent memory that I had heard the proposal. He defended it that it would allow for more scoring. I guess it would?

Farhan goes onto explain himself a bit. I haven't seen much pushback against 100 yard fields but I didn't think that they were really considering that. Instinctively, I am against the change but it probably wouldn't hurt the league. I like the rouge, so I am not in favour of eliminating it. But, what is the impact on the game, if they did remove it? How much does the strategy change?

I have not seen a single "traditional" CFL fan complain about the proposed changes to the hash marks? Anyone else?

Farhan is at it again. Now it's the CFL fans' fault.

It's probably harder than one would think. You need to deliver a certain amount of the poison, which cannot be easy. In Navalny's case, if he hadn't received urgent medical treatment, he would have died. I'm not ruling out Russian incompetence, it's just that getting enough poison into someone to kill them, would be challenging. Especially if their target is leery of such an attack.

I was at The Forks last night. My son and I were definitely outliers wearing our masks. Forks staff were but very, very few other patrons were.

Of course, this will get tossed long before that ever happens. It's a frivolous suit from Trump and the typical 2-bit lawyers who work on contingency.

I'm not blaming them. I'm blaming the Provinces for trying to balance their budgets with the CHT, rather then spending it appropriately.

Covid-19
Data suggests that B.2 is at 15% in Manitoba but testing has been severally curtailed or stopped altogether. Unfortunately, our provincial gov't is also messing around with data from sewage, which likely shows that covid is on the rise here. They are willfully withholding critical data from us. And, they are doing this to protect themselves, not Manitobans. They tell us we're on our own, yet won't give us the data they have to make appropriate decisions. Schools are an efin mess.

To be clear, those deaths were over the past week. Only (ONLY!!!!) four deaths were reported today.

Provinces not been spending their CHTs, which is why this gov't put a stop to it. And. I need to add that the previous gov't slowed the transfer increases from 6% growth to 3% to match what the provinces were actually spending.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
