My boys and I had lots of fun at the game last night. Goldeyes won and hopefully they can take one in Fargo. If so, they'll have more home games. Did see a bad injury. Collision at the plate with Max Murphy, who led the team in HRs and RBIs this year, and he visibly broke his leg. You could hear it break. Just terrible. I feel so bad for him and, you have to wonder, if it will be the end of his baseball career? I hope not.

I went to a movie in July and wore a mask. Most others didn't. Bomber game - on the bus and on the concourse. Not in my seats, as it's open air. Concert - Haven't been. Restaurant - unless I'm eating, yes. But, I don't get out much. I'm mostly just a chauffer, activity coordinator. and personal shopper for two boys and they don't let me out much. I'm in a bit of a different situation, as my wife, for the past 8 months has been immunocompromised and getting covid could have been deadly. Luckily, for the worst of it, she didn't get sick. But, It was no fun in August, I will tell you.

When I am in an enclosed space, I certainly do, I have to mask up for work each day. I don't need to outdoors because the science says that the risk, in a open air environment, is miniscule.

I can't explain the choices others make. I can only look at the science and know that I will do everything I can to protect my children, including getting them vaccines when they become available. To choose not to because others don't would not make me a responsible adult. Endangering my children because a bunch of anti-science mouth-breathers don't believe in vaccines would never cross my mind.

The idea of not protecting a child is scary as ****. I can't believe someone would trust their own made up "science" over actual science is abhorrent. The ignorance is astounding.

Um, smoking is definitely banned in public where you can make others sick. Your last line was addressed in my previous comment.

He's the only one hitting, that's for sure. Pitching and defense are still good. As soon as the bats warm up, though, they're going to roll.

We obviously need to arm babysitters against gun toting toddlers. I hope the adult "responsible" for the gun faces criminal charges of endangering children and improper storage of the firearm, at the very least.

I'm not sayin you're wrong that people are not wearing masks but there are zero health orders telling them to. What would they be "enforcing"? You're wrong in saying that someone is "stuck in 2021" because they're not pretending it's over like others do. And, with the kids back in school, we're going to be hit with another wave of illness and death. Where there are rules, people are wearing masks.

Cancer and heart disease are not communicable. Pretending the pandemic is over is inconsistent with science.

Goldeyes start their playoffs tonight at home. 6:30pm start. This may be their last home game of the season. I decided to bring my boys to the game. They get this and the Banjo Bowl. I wish I was as lucky as a child. 54 now.

Marino was a complete non-factor, barely even mentioned during the broadcast, until the stain took a cheap shot at Collaraos at the end of the game. In fact, he's such a non-factor, it's the only time he's ever mentioned - when he's trying to hurt someone. Get out of the league, get out of the country.

I bet there is story behind this and, as things come out, it will be a confrontation between coach and player that led to his release.
