The principal should have gunned down the student. Might hit a few other students but that's the price you need to pay for freedom.
  2. But, they still need to make room on the roster, right? They're at their max already.
  3. Who's being sent down or moved to the IR?
  4. Oh, well! It's only the environment. Those O&G companies are so silly.
  5. Agreed. Sorry, @the watcher.

Funny how you can steal millions and get a minor fine that only covers part of the criming. But, if you were to steal a pack of gum, someone could legally shoot you. What a country!

No job stability, no security. I have no problems with the severance packages, which should be done by formula. These are jobs that are absolutely required in order to ensure govt operates. Can't do it without. But, due to the political nature of it, it is seen as a partisan issue, when it really shouldn't be.

Let's see what the special counsel digs up. I'm curious about the nature of the docs and why he would have had them offsite?

Pour one out for Civil Servants. One of the most challenging things for any gov't, when everyone knows that they're getting booted from office, is holding onto staff. Order in Council appointments have zero protection (and they know that before going nt), so they often looking for other work long before the gov'ts term ends. Politicians make the decisions but the staff are who get things done. Without competent, experienced staff, there's very little chance you'll get much done. When the NDP was in its final throws in gov't the staff cleared out. The new NDP gov't in Alberta scooped up the good ones. It was a mess. These are political appointments, so they usually have deep roots with the party.
  12. @SpeedFlex27, there's only one person who is a CBA expert and lawyer around here and you should respect him!

This was prior to being the President and they turned everything over. Unlike, Trump, who lied, obstructed and probably sold them.
  14. I have no problems with a reasonable pension. But, using Manning, who's a grifter, as the model is ridiculous. The guy is sleazy. Same with Harper, who got his pension, then cut everyone else off.
  15. If it were just that easy but you don't just sign up. There is a huge, unpaid, time commitment to actually get the nomination and win the riding. If you're rich, like Manning and taking money from rich corps, that's easy. We really need civics classes again in school.
  16. Only the rich should be politicians because they're the only ones that can afford to take 8 plus years out of their careers to serve us plebs.

Note all the trees and green they put in the images but will not plant trees or create actual greenspace. That, unfortunately, will be lost to budget cuts down the road. It's going to remain all concrete.

Garland has appointed a special counsel to look into the mishandling of documents.
  19. Now, they're interfering in prosecutions? Holy hell, the worst trash.

The only to do now is to lie, attack the FBI, and yell, WITCH HUNT.
  21. I thought he was a spokesperson for BC and the XFL?
  22. Their fan is going to be really upset with this.
  23. I would not gamble on a sport where the players are knowingly taking money from gambling sites. Yikes, what a bad look for the NHL. "I appreciate the question, but after all of that I don't think I'm going to get into it much, honestly," Matthews, a star centre with the Toronto Maple Leafs, told The Fifth Estate recently. Don't need to buy the refs when the players are on the take.
