I wouldn't Bourke either, god knows our O-line could use the help. Not sure I'm sold on Harris at 'just south' of 200K, unless it's Trevor. Not that I'm saying we go after him, sounds like he's re-signing in TO anyway. I hope we land either Stafford, Smith or Fuller. In that order

That asking price for Laurent is scary. At this point I'm kind of leaning more towards signing Laing or Capicotti so we can still go after Smith or Messam.

And he has some upside to him, atleast we'd still have some coin leftover if we signed him. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to land Laurent but cost-wise it could handcuff us for a couple years.

True but in his case he made a lot of tackles because he was good in the run game and chasing down receivers after they broke away from other tacklers. My guess is they haven't signed him yet because they have FA's they are trying to allocate funds for, not because they don't want him.

Washington at times was one of our better defenders. Not to mention arguably our best punt returner. Last year he had 67 tackles, 1 sack and 3 INTs which anyway you cut it is pretty good.

Laurent is the only really big splash signing that's going to get me really excited. Followed by a solid addition to the OL and WR. Bourke would be pretty cool. Fuller or Stafford are on my wish list.

Would hate to lose Washington. I'd like to see Newman back. The others, meh.

There are a few successful coaches on the offensive side of the ball who were either on par or worse than Pierce as players. Just throwing that out there...

According to the Bombers website. I like this move, he has put in his time and think he's ready. Having LaPolice to pick his brain should only further help his development IMO.

O-line we have Bryant, Goosen, Chungh and probably Daniels pencilled in. So then what? Do we burn a Import at LG and what options if we went to battle today? B.Turner had an off year last season, can and do we hope he bounces back? Who do we get to compliment Westerman? (And why is he absent from our roster on the website) personally I wouldn't mind Alex Hall back.

Those converts though. Never been so nervous about making them until last year. Was even scarier in close games.

The other way gives us two solid lines with another capable of contributing. Don't want to spread the lines too thin, IMO.

Hirjullahu struggled with the converts last with them being further out which seemed to mess with his confidence overall. We could use someone reliable like Medlock.

I'd put Thorburn on the top line then the idjit would probably become selfish and start lighting it up...
