Our D the last 4 games.
Pretty much, right now the Riders are 3-10 with 5 games remaining (best possible record is 8-10) and Edmonton is 6-7 with 5 games remaining (worst possible record would be 6-12). Riders could still cross-over if Edmonton managed to win only won 1 of their last 5 (finishing 7-11), assuming the Riders run the table and finish 8-10. Even if the stars did align and the Riders do win out AND Edmonton loses out, that doesn't guarantee a cross-over since they also would need 2 of the 4 teams in the East to have a final record of worse than 7-11... highly unlikely, since Toronto (currently in 3rd) is 5-8... The only reason I care is because it keeps the pipe dream alive of us getting to the Grey Cup through the West, whilst Saskatchewan would take the much weaker road through the East. The end result? Us steamrolling them in the Grey Cup in a season the Riders thought was all but lost. It probably won't happen (apparently Riders playoff chances right now are at about 0.09%, assuming games are determined by a coin flip)... but a man can dream.

Our D the last 4 games.
I like the move to bench Johnny Adams this week - he's just looked out of place and Frederick seemed to be getting the job done. Hopefully it'll either wake up Adams, or Frederick will continue his good play. Very much so looking forward to that home-and-home against B.C. - if that series isn't a split, I think the winner takes 2nd in the West. Hopefully the Riders can help us out with a W against B.C. in their last home game at Mosaic. Also - fun fact, the Riders aren't yet mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, although their only chance is via a cross-over to the East.

Harris/Flanders
Flanders has looked good the last few games, unfortunately I think its just a case of odd-man out once Harris is healthy. Using Harris as the Canadian WR would be an interesting one-of or "gadget-play" formation, but re-tooling the entire offense around it wouldn't really work. You're right though, Flanders is definitely on the radar for some teams now though...

Harris/Flanders
Fair point. Maybe someday Flanders will be the successor to Andrew Harris... however with respect to the topic of this thread - the starting RB position goes to Harris, assuming he can play.

Harris/Flanders
Don't get me wrong, Flanders has done well as a backup to Harris. Thing is, he's just that - a backup.

Arrogance: Bo Levi is your name
I can't wait till the Stamps crap the bed at home in November against us in the Western Final.

3 stars plus HH cowtown
Goat of the game: Johnny Adams on that fumble "recovery" attempt.

BC @ Esks Sept. 23, 2016
Even then, the "placebo" effect is well-documented in medicine as providing positive results. Also, who do we want to win this game? B.C. to further push the Eskies away from us? .. or Edmonton, to allow us to possibly gain ground on B.C.? I'd be leaning towards Edmonton... either way though I'm hoping for injuries...suspensions... or both.

Winnipeg @ Calgary Depth Chart
How has FOX Network not created an NFL-version of this as a reality TV show? This seems like exactly the kind of thing they'd jump at.
-
Remaining 6 Games
If we lose Saturday, I'm considering this my silver lining... we're just luring them into a false sense of security.

Week Of @Calgary Game (Injuries, Practice, etc)
It just adds.... insult to injury? ..I'll show myself out.

Week Of @Calgary Game (Injuries, Practice, etc)
This signing would probably help sell more tickets.

Medlock the Mising Link
It's more than that though... I can't remember the last time the Bombers had a kicker they could place faith in. Is his impact overstated? Probably, but the kicker position is somewhere the Bombers have struggled with and had mediocrity for far too long. Palardy, anyone?

Can we beat calgary?
*facepalm* ... yep you're right, quickly looked up the 'Stamps season and Edmonton was the first L on record - it was their preseason game
-
Can we beat calgary?
Edmonton beat 'em (and we beat Edmonton, in Edmonton), Ottawa tied 'em - Calgary is a good football team but I feel they are overdue for a loss. On top of that, they just clinched a playoff berth last week. Doesn't happen in the CFL that often (since they play weekly), but in the NHL on long road trips or back-to-back games, sometimes great NHL will take a night off and lose to a far inferior team. So in conclusion... if the Bombers show up, Calgary skates lazily and the game is played on ice, we have a chance.

Award winners at the 2/3 mark
Not sure about the Bombers... but for the Riders I'd have to say... Most Outstanding Player - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Canadian - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Defensive Player - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Lineman - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Special Teams Player - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Rookie - Chris Jones Probably the biggest signing by the Riders this year.

Week Of @Calgary Game (Injuries, Practice, etc)
With the NFL season starting up, for those interested here's a list of players with previous CFL experience that were recently cut from NFL rosters: http://3downnation.com/2016/09/04/cfl-landing-spots-final-nfl-cuts/ The article is a few weeks old (Sept 4), but likely still has merit.

Eskies at Riders
Thanks for the help, neighbors.

GDT: Toronto @ Winnipeg
I'll make the effort to correctly spell his name when he makes the effort to correctly hit field goals!
-
GDT: Toronto @ Winnipeg
Gotta say nothing was better than Hardkaghiuerkjshb missing that field goal - the best part was he thought he had it - did the high-five with his holder and everything, then had to cover the return...

3 stars plus HH week 13
My HH goes to Ricky Foley, thanks for turning a Bomber interception and loss of momentum into a 15-yard penalty for roughing the passer. It kept the drive alive, and the Bombers would score 24 unanswered points after that.

Qb pressures
It'd be interesting to see if there is any correlation between this statistic and the amount of rushing attempts the QBs have - the fact that Tony Washington is so high on that list may also be due to some additional pressures being caused by Reiley scrambling... it could just as easily be because he sucks at blocking though.

2017 CFL Draft
So long as the draft is just slightly weaker, and not green-and-white bad.

Anyone going to the game in Calgary?
That. Is insane. Seriously their team is 9-1-1... what more do Calgary fans WANT???
-
Qb pressures
A sack, on the other hand is defined as when the other common excrement comes out of said QB.
