I wasn't expecting Ekakitie to be a day 1 starter so not too concerned. get him spelling off Thomas or whomever on the line here and there through out the year to get him some reps/experience and expect more from him in year 2

I think i'll be going with denmark as well after all, this will be his 7th season with the bombers and despite the adversity of being cut last year, has been a pro about it and produced. I'm getting the jersey through my buddy with the bombers so he can use his 30% discount and get the jersey signed, but I jokely told him about the post where I said if Loffler shaves his beard into handle bars to go with the mullet, I'd buy his jersey. Apparently he's going to run that by him... so if he Loffler suddenly has handle bars... your welcome.

none of the training camp reports have a reason why, he was on the sidelines tossing the ball around though yesterday, and was practicing for the first few days, maybe it's just giving him a break while they look at some others

getting a new home jersey little torn on who to get. right now I have #16 Loffler, #89 Denmark and #38 Wild in mind, but can't decide. So... thought I'd throw it out there, if you were to buy a jersey tomorrow, who would you get? maybe i'm overlooking some deserving names as well

I've had many tickets go to waste because I invited friends to games then last second it seemed like a better idea to them to spend the money we would at the game on about 5x more liquor and just watch the game on TV, so I've kind of given up hope on my friends coming with me to games. I typically go with my dad or my son now, but my dad is the megatron of negatrons at games - like first penalty called and he's ready to pack up shop and go home cuz it's a lost cause. My son on the other hand is a ticats fan so he routinely cheers against the bombers (mostly just to get under my skin) In more recent memory I've been taking the random date to bombers games, but having to explain everything about football to them gets a little tiring so we spend lots of time at the rum hut in and out of the stadium too

in the 4 v 5 (DL vs OL) drills i watch yesterday, for the most part our OL was doing a good job keeping the DL contained, especially at the tackle positions. Only one that really stood out tho busting through almost every time was Nevis, that's why he was an easy one to point out

McDuffie put up some pretty good numbers last year on KR. I dunno if I'd chalk him up as the best in the league (I'd have said Rainey), but he did have best average and longest (98) while finishing 4th in total yards. Would be a welcomed return for sure

I think they really are that good. Its one of those you gotta see it live to truly appreciate the motor on some of these guys like Nevis kind of deal. He is fast. That report from sweep saying he basically could have snatched the hand off doesn't surprise me at all. Gotta remember Wylie was also our coach in 14' and 15' when we had some pretty crappy OL's. I think the biggest difference in our line is talent vs scheme. And if Wylie's schemes did have any affect, we still have Marty Costello who was his assistant and likely carries over the same philosophies
