well Penton apparently said were over the cap as it sits right now (without cutting anyone) i'm going to assume there wasn't much thought put in beyond who we targeted in FA, and it's now a matter of fiscal management. Walters probably didn't/doesn't know who he was going to cut and how much we would have to offer after the fact. I guess that's one positive to Jones, he hasn't hesitated in making room immediately and know exactly how much he has to work with

maybe this is a perfect type movie for him then, doesnt really need to be creative in making the story, as the premise is pretty straight forward having a previous movie to bounce off of, and can just focus on making it look like the bees knees. They definitely gave a lot of room to be imaginitive with the monster(s) in cloverfield not being necessarily 1 monster and one monster only

I kinda felt like we didnt really have a leader on offence last year, maybe due to injuries, but I seem to recall Milt being like a mentor for the new guys and not only keeping them in line verbally/mentally but also going out and showing them with his production too. Denmark and Moore never really stood out to me like that kinda player. I think Dressler could fit that mold given he's a perennial all star, and plays all out everytime hes on the field

Cloverfield was one of those movies i went into the theater completely unknown what i was going to see. While Im not a big fan of POV movies, i did enjoy it for what it was. JJ abrams has done some decent movies, and given this film is more cinematique then POV/first person gives me hope it can be good. I like the idea of John Goodman as a psycho recluse. he plays a good crazy
