Yeah well I just turned 39 today.

2021 CFL Free Agency
Toronto has got a little bit better but they still have a battle ahead of them. They now have the 4th best QB in their division (hamilton has two of the top 3) and they have a head coach who is pretty green. They still have an uphill battle to make the playoffs. I wouldn't sleep on Ottawa being better then them this season. Lapo can run the same offence he had in Winnipeg. Make very few mistakes and pound the rock. They will be difficult to beat if their defense holds up.

2021 CFL Free Agency
I just feel like we've got a little bit of spending money with the contract for Bighill coming down so much. We were in on Derel Walker last season so I think we will look at adding a receiver in free agency.

2021 CFL Free Agency
At the time I said that he was still a pending freshman agent.. That's no longer the case. I'm hoping Lawler will sign shortly. I don't think there is big money out there for him from another CFL team. All teams are in a cap crunch.

2021 CFL Free Agency
I wonder what level of interest we would have in Bryan Burnham or Ricky Collins as a consolation prize? Burnham would be the better fit because he's a slotback but chances are he re-signs with BC. I guess this would leave Collins and Eric Rogers for us to target?

2021 CFL Free Agency
Suddenly i don't feel so bad for giving up a first round pick for Zachary. Ottawa gave up a 1st overall pick and ended up with Nichols.

2021 CFL Free Agency
I'm not surprised that Awe was released. He's the kind of guy you sign near the end of free agency when he didn't land a starting salary somewhere and can get him for cheap as a depth piece. Right now Winnipeg has a chance to upgrade some starting positions and that has to be the priority right now.

Bombers Signings
The last time we were in a trade involving a box of tape the box of tape ended up being Greg Frers. I'll take it.

2021 CFL Entry Draft
I don't disagree in principle. But at some point we are going to start losing these guys for nothing because they will leave for opportunities elsewhere.

2021 CFL Entry Draft
Do we really need to draft another offensive lineman at this point? I would sooner see us look at middle linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga as a potential ratio breaker down the road.

Bombers Signings
Baily signed yesterday. Would be nice to get Lawler back as he would likely come cheaper than a free agent and I like to see us develop our own receivers.

Game 1 : Flames
We have to find a way to keep him happy. Wheeler to me is starting to show his age and maybe has one or two decent seasons left in him. If it is just a matter of money they can find a way to pay Laine. If that means Statsny is here for only one year and Perfetti is the 2nd line center next year so be it.

Game 2 : @ Leafs
Kind of annoying that there is such a long break between games.

Do you guys think there will be a big exodus to the NFL this offseason.. I'm thinking a guy like Kenny Lawler might want to give it a shot. I just think that missing a year of football might make it harder for guys like him to land a contract.

Any word on Grant and Kongbo who tried the NFL and I don't believe either of them stuck.

I wasn't suggesting that she was chosen versus somebody else so that she doesn't have to face opposition. Im saying that I think they will have Biden step down at some point so that she doesn't need to face opposition before the next election. I don't think she's relatable and if so who is she related to? I think she was chosen because she's extremely malleable and will change who she is and what her positions are to match what benefits her in a specific time period. And she can be sold to white progressives as being progressive even though historically she is not. The biggest fear the democrat establishment has is the social democrats and they don't want Kamala to have to run against someone like AOC who will pressure all other candidates to take on extreme positions.

I don't view it so much as preventing him from being president but moreso as an easy way out. Im talking about the Hunter Biden Scandals which involve Joe Biden in the role of "the big guy". My view is that Biden never really wanted to run for President but that he kind of got roped into it and that at some point the plan is for him to step down and have Kamala Harris take over so that she is the incumbent in the next election and doesn't face opposition in her own party. I would imagine that scandals or health issues will be the reason provided for Biden stepping down. Hohoho.. Biden had nothing to do with the voter fraud. He's lucky if he can dress himself.

US Politics
Yeah well.. It's pretty obvious at this point that he's going to be president. The bigger threat is maybe his health or scandals but in that case it would be Kamala who gets sworn in.

Bitcoin
Yeah well every once in a while even a blind squirrel finds an acorn. Bitcoin is the real deal and institutional money is pouring into it these days. Its basically digital gold and as a result of bitcoin Gold is suffering during a period of time it would normally be doing quite well.

Bitcoin
Bitcoin finally broke through the elusive 20k threshold today and is still only in the beginning of a long bullrun. Just curious if anyone else is invested in crpyto?

2021 CFL Entry Draft
If there is a season it's going to be awfully interesting to see two draft classes worth of Canadian rookies competing for a handful of jobs.

Not looking good for Joe here.

I never said he was a man of peace. He doesn't believe in direct american involvement in long occupations. Selling weapons to other countries is nothing new. It would be a big improvement over Trump and previous Presidential regimes for a presidential candidate to propose to bring the troops home as well as to stop selling arms to other countries.

See that's where people lose me. Trump is not a fascist or a dictator. He's a mild reformer with a bad attitude. Please expand on extra-judicial killings? Ignoring due process and encouraging vigilante groups so i know what it is I'm reacting to. Trump has put in some big warhawks and then he's had to fire them. When he first took over office there was a big attempt from the neo conservative swamp who's loyalty had been purchased by weapons manufacturers to push their kind of people into the administration. Trump has been tough enough to stand up to them and eventually they've quit or been fired. When people like Mattis and Bolton can't work with him you know he's got the right positions on war on he's tough. I don't care whether Trump is out to benefit himself or not. I refuse to view any politician as being authentic and caring about people. What matters is what changes they implement and whether those changes will be long lasting. I view the constant bickering about something Trump said on Twitter or something he said to a reporter as smoke and mirrors to avoid having to talk about real issues. It just really ticks me off when people like Michael Moore who have so much in common with Trump can't even acknowledge that some of what Trump has done as been for the better. A lot of what Trump got elected on was strait out of Michael Moore's playbook. First of all is appearance. Michael Moore a millionaire has a tendency of dressing down and wearing cheap looking hats so that the average Joe can relate to him even though he's rich and they aren't. Queue the MAGA hats. Trump campaigned against the evil Big Business who farmed jobs China. He stood in front of the Ford factory and blasted them for doing this. This was inspired of coarse by Roger and Me. After taking so much inspiration from Moore he has the audacity to say after Trump is elected that we need to oppose everything that Trump does. Just wow. And now Trump seems to be trying to work in some of the themes from Bowling for Columbine. The point of that movie was that all a lot of the reason for violence and toxicity in America is being Americans live in fear which is instilled in them by the media. Trump removed his mask in front of the white house after surviving a battle with Covid 19 and talked about not living in fear. Man this triggered the media as they've been making a good living for years now by instilling fear into people and they can't stand anyone who F's with that.
