Definitely still a solid starter. He is a physical freak. Dude is shredded. May be a little slower but he could still play. Smart as well.

On top or everything else good about Darby playing great here last year, he is basically plug and play. He knows the defence, he knows the team. It is an immediate starter

What we know for fact is that Darby played at an all star level for us last year. Not 5 years ago, last year I don’t really give a fug about how he played in Hamilton.

This isn’t video games. Chances are that if you get a vet like Darby who has been a really good player in this league, that he is not having his best year. Who knows the exact reason why? You certainly don’t. It is a great late season add that is up there with a guy like adding Nick Taylor a few years ago. The other guy has shown he can be a starter in this league - again, this time of year, tell me where that is coming from? 8/9 teams still think they have a chance to get in the playoffs.
