I think it is a great idea to let them make their mistakes now...they have enough veterans with Buff, Myers, Stu, Matthias, Wheels, Little, Thorbs, Staf, Perreault and even Scheif. Lemieux, Dano and Copp will all be making their case for a call up as well. This team is going to be fun to watch. I expect the PP to be a bit better and the PK to be much better. I don't think we take the number of penalties as we did last year.

Strome has a much higher ceiling..............there's a reason he was #3 overall.

haha I don't know but I would. You can never have too many good, young centers. I couldn't see them letting go of both of them for Trouba though.........I actually think he will re-sign with the Jets.

Connor earns a spot and gets to start with the big team... Three goals and two were game winners...not bad for a rookie, not bad at all. He's making everyone remember why we were talking so much about him until Laine got drafted. Connor Scheif Ehlers Laine Little Wheeler would look nice in the near future...

There will be mistakes with such a young lineup....I think we area bubble team this year and 50/50 whether we make the playoffs. Connor Tanev Laine Morrissey are rookies...Ehlers and Armia and Helle are very new to the league....I am guessing about 93 points for the Jets this year.

Way to go Tanev and nice to see Kyle Connor gets more respect from the team than he does on here... Way to go Jets on demoting Pavs....HOOWAH! This team will be a force in a couple of years. I think Dano becomes a regular before Petan does...De Leo might even be a regular before Petan....i'd say Dano or Copp will be the first forwards called up...this also means that they expect Matthias and Staf to be healthy for the opener.

True but any coach will tell you that he would rather win the 2-1 game. Not too many 9-8 hockey games in the playoffs.

I like the LPA line too but I just think it is wiser to play Laine with Scheif and Wheeler. He has shown that he can handle the extra attention he will get and is smart enough defensively to help this line.

Staf is better offensively but I'll take Armia's D game any and every night of the season. Ehlers can easily replace Staf on the right side and that is where he prefers to play and even Maurice has said that eventually Ehlers will go back to the RW. You put Laine with Wheeler and Scheif and he pots 30 goals...also, Connor Lttle and Ehlers will give lots of teams trouble. Stafford needs to go.

He does produce offensively but i just don't like the fact that he takes TOI away from younger players. He had better be traded by the TD.

They want Laine and Armia with Perreault not Little. Connor is nowhere near as D savvy as Laine. Which is why I don't like him on a line with Staf.

Maurice has said that during the month of November (only get 2 days off in a row once), a rotation of goalies can be expected. I am guessing we will see more injuries this year with the games being so close to one another because of the time off the players bargained for in February I think? There is a benefit of having the Moose play in the same city and I think we will see it this season. edit... I am expecting a 2 goal win by the Jets and Hutch to start.

I think he is really close and I hate that second line... I don't want Staf playing on the same line as Connor....too much of a lack of D on that line even if Little is there. Say what you want about Staf, this team is better off long term without him taking TOI away from players like Armia and Dano. The Moose will have some good players though. This is what I would go with... Laine-Scheifele-Wheeler Connor-Little-Ehlers Perreault-Copp-Armia Tanev-Lowry-Dano Burmi/Thorburn Morrissey, Buff, Enstrom, Myers, Stuart, Postma and Chiarot. Hutchinson played pretty good in the first and second. It's too bad that the hockey game has three periods to it.

Lowry, Thorburn, Armia and Connor need big games but I think Armia and Connor stick.
