Game 33 : Florida FC @ Can't Blame The Schedule No More
I usually don't complain about the referees but does anybody beside me think that at the very least Yandel should have got a penalty when he came in on the Dano Ekblad exchange in front of the Florida neck? if that were the Winnipeg Jets we would have got a penalty no questions asked.

Fun Facts about some of our Prospects
Awwww, who we gonna pick on next year when Pavs is gonnnnnne?????....... oh ya, I forgot, we have Stu signed for yet ANOTHER year. Not sure if this is a fun fact or not but I heard that if Buff has the time and the bite is on, he hires a chopper to take him out on LW to do some ice fishing. Buff, if you read this and you are ever looking for someone to go with, I have a warm pair of boots???

Around The NHL 2016/2017
Provorov played 24 1/2 minutes tonight. How long until the Canucks fire their coach? I say before the new year.

They both suck. I sure hope he signs with the Jets. We do have the upper hand on the rest of the league by about $92,500.

I wasn't calling him down I was just stating a fact. I actually think that he has as much upside as any goaltender in the organization. Don't put words in my mouth.

Game 33 : Florida FC @ Can't Blame The Schedule No More
I think he's done very well with the youngsters...one of his stronger points if you ask me...it is the vets that are letting him down. I was listening to the Moose game earlier and their PK is 29th in the league...Comrie with the OT loss tonight.

It would be nice to have someone a little better than Postma for a 3rd pairing D man. Maybe this will force Chevy to make a trade to shore up our D corps. I'd still like to see Chevy pry a young D out of someone.

Game 33 : Florida FC @ Can't Blame The Schedule No More
Maurice can probably hardly wait to get Matthias Lowry Armia back together, what with his job on the line and all. Assuming he does and the top 6 are Little, Scheif, Wheeler, Ehlers, Laine and MP, who would that leave on the 4th line as starters? Tanev, Copp and Dano? Staf?

We should trade him?

Game 33 : Florida FC @ Can't Blame The Schedule No More
Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler Perreault-Little-Laine Tanev-Lowry-Stafford Dano-Copp-Thorburn Petan Burmi Matthias Armia...I count 16 and the most we will carry is 14... Burmi and Petan? I would hope they don't send down Copp. Buff Trouba Myers Postma Enstrom Morrissey Chiarot Stu...we're gonna have to waiver one of them....Postma?

Our Goalies
When all we really need is to trade him once!

Game 33 : Florida FC @ Can't Blame The Schedule No More
That would look like SUCH a nice lineup if Thorbs and Staf weren't in it. Hopefully Maurice will replace them with Matthias and Armia. Seriously though, Matthias, Petan and Armia come back what do you do? Petan to the Moose isn't fair but probably going to happen...Something has to be done with Burmi and Staf. They aren't going to move Thorbs further than the pressbox. Theoretically speaking, insert Matthias into that lineup and sit Thorbs and Staf and Burmi and that is one too many. I'm not even counting what they will do when Myers finally gets back. Waive Postma? If you can't trade them, I'd waive Stu, Postma and Burmi but I know Chevy won't.

Hired 3 coaches too.

LA getting it done without a goalie, carrying a couple of bad contracts and tied for a wildcard spot. Great to hear Armia and Matthias are getting closer...

Our Goalies
My expectations weren't that high but I did want to see improvement from the 2nd year players and something from the rookies that say they belong or they are not that far away. Ehlers, Armia (limited time), Dano, Petan and Copp, have all showed that they are improving and belong in my opinion. Hard for me to find areas where Helle has improved. It sure isn't rebounds but I think they played him too much during that rough stretch. I also think that Comrie and Helle will be here for a long, long time. Hutch has been the model of inconsistency and not only game to game but period to period. The only reason he is here is because of the expansion draft. Morrissey has played far beyond my expectations and so has Tanev even though he is not as skilled a player as Morrissey. I have very little bad to say about Laine and everything good especially for his age. I thought 25 goals his first season would be too much to hope for. Connor has been a disappointment since TC finished. He looked to be coming around a bit in his D game but then he was sat and now demoted but I am sure he will be a big part of this club going forward. I knew there would be more injuries around the league this year with the condensed schedule but I didn't think the Jets would lose this many quality players for so long and I agree that Myers is missed big time and Postma is not an NHL caliber D man. Maurice has to start reprimanding the players for the stupid stick penalties but that might have been due to being gassed some games. It looked like they had cleaned it up pretty good earlier in the season.

He might be on your hot seat but if you listen to any hockey analysts, they are saying no way is he fired.

Game 32 : Slip Slidin' Away @ The Crude Oil Blues
that'd be nice... ESW Laine Little MP Armia Lowry Copp Matthias Tanev Dano as our forwards with Burmi and Thorbs sitting...that still means that Petan goes down but by the time Matthias is back, there will probably be another forward injured.
