he is an example that almost anyone can be signed....the "or anyone else" didn't tip you off? Hutch isn't going to play for the Jets next year anyway and neither would Emery or whomever they signed. It will be Helle/Comrie next year. Time to call up Connor and Copp and Tanev and Comrie and let them play. The team isn't making the playoffs.

You too? Hutch was signed for two years so he is available for the draft (and they thought he was a good backup). So, we waive Hutch and he gets picked up by someone. We sign Emery for the 2017-2018 season and make him available. It's not rocket science guys.

Stu would satisfy the D man and so would Chiarot if given a qualifying offer...Hutch or another slug (Emery for example) fulfills the goalie requirement. many forwards are eligible for the draft.

who needs to expose a goalie....there is a list of out of work goalies you could sign to expose.

Comrie has 17 starts and Hutch has 15 or 16. I just don't see the point of having him here if he isn't going to be in the future....nobody is claiming Hutchinson off of waivers.
