The Wild Card race aka hockey's Final Four
care to explain?

Game 78: Canucks @ Jets
Myers has never had and will never have the nastiness Pronger has/had. I'm not taking anything away from him but his nastiness level is closer to Dave Babych's than Chris Pronger's.

The Wild Card race aka hockey's Final Four
The Canucks play deadmonton, coyotes and Kings....they have split the games 2-2 against the Kings so far. The nucks should win 2 of 3. The Flames should win their next 2 as they are 3-1 against the Kings. The Kings play Van, Flames, Sharks and Deadmonton. The Kings and Van should make the playoffs. If the Jets beat Colorado and Minny and lose to the Blues, the last game is huuuuuuuuuuuge.

Game 78: Canucks @ Jets
"They’ve got Buff (Dustin Byfuglien), (Tyler) Myers and (Jacob) Trouba on the right side. And, I think, (Toby) Enstrom is an elite player," said Babcock. "That’s a pretty good back end." Babcock seems to think Toby isn't not too bad...

Pav is starting to lose, back to Hutch ...
If I had to guess, I would say that Pavs and Hutch start the year (barring trades or injuries) but Hellebuyck gets called up around the new year. If Comrie turns into the goalie they think he can, the Jets will have a nice crew of goalies in a few years.

Ya, really......the Pens are stinking out the joint and the Wings aren't doing themselves any favors either. Some rally good, tight races to see who goes golfing early this year.- Game 78: Canucks @ Jets
Yup, Toby isn't a legit D man and neither is Myers or Stuart or Chiarot. Trouba hasn't been playing all that well the last 1/4 or so of the season...- The Wild Card race aka hockey's Final Four
Could be worse, we could be the Sharks. A MUST win game against the Coyotes and they lose. Wow, just wow.- Game 78: Canucks @ Jets
name one?- Pav is starting to lose, back to Hutch ...
And then he let in 4 goals and ended the game with a .867 save percentage. Yep, Pavs is back to his usual terrible self. Glad we were able to win in spite of Pavelec, but we're not going to score 5 goals every game. Jets simply need better from their goaltending.Convenient how you ignored all of the odd man rushes in the game, especially in the second period. Pavelec made a number of big saves to bail out his blue liners.Ya that's called doing your job. Is Pavelec the only goalie who ever has to deal with odd man rushes? Every goalie deals with odd man rushes every game. That's the stupidest point in this thread. Guy has 5 years of NHL stats proving he's below league average. He is who he is. And you are who you are...someone that is never satisfied and complains whether he has a legit reason or not. What's the matter, your husband isn't listening to you any more so yo have to come on here and complain?- Pav is starting to lose, back to Hutch ...

Glad we were able to win in spite of Pavelec, but we're not going to score 5 goals every game. Jets simply need better from their goaltending. How many odd man rushes did the Jets give up today...were we watching the same game? Which goals woudl you blame on Pavs??? Just wondering...- Game 78: Canucks @ Jets
Yup, dump Pavs and let Hutch and Helly and all their experience take over...- No natter what the ruling, Jay Harrison may be the better defensive option for the Jets going forward
I've watched the Enstrom injury a couple of times and cannot figure out how or what he hurt..sholder or arm?- Game 78: Canucks @ Jets
Probably tired from all those off days teaching the team not to allow those odd man rushes.............- No natter what the ruling, Jay Harrison may be the better defensive option for the Jets going forward
Both are liabilities in their own end....if Enstrom is out, I sure hope Chiarot is ready to return. Trouba and Toby have played better games....Myers and Stuart were the best D men today.- Pav is starting to lose, back to Hutch ...
He kept us in the game in the 1st period.- Game 76: Blackhawks @ Jets

Enstrom didn't have his strongest game either but nobody should be judged by one game. If Buff hadn't stopped that puck when he pinched and scored, the Hawks have a 2 on 0 or at best a 2 on 1. You don't pinch at that stage of that game...period. He was playing WAY better D from Jan. 1 to the all star break. He needs to play better D. Having said that, would I trade him? I would trade ANYBODY on the team if the right trade came along. That includes Trouba, Scheifele, Wheeler, etc... I agree with TUP that Chevy should try as hard as he can to re-sign him before the season starts. Ladd, too. For that matter, I would think he should try to re-sign Chiarot, Trouba, Staf, Frolik, Stempniak, and Postma....prolly missing a few, too. I think most people, having been told where the Jets are in the standings with 6 games to go, would have taken this scenario at the start of the season. We lost a game to the Hawks, not the end of the world. Tough loss? Arguably the toughest of the season. Season over? Not yet. GO JETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Game 76: Blackhawks @ Jets
Buff played horrible, we should trade him...- The Wild Card race aka hockey's Final Four
Frosty, at least some people have the balls to make a prediction...not after it is fact.- Next year's line up?
Chiarot = RFA.- Next year's line up?
I just spit coffee on my screen when I read this...you're kidding right?- Next year's line up?
Chiarot would never clear waivers and Frosty, who are you alluding to as our best defensive D man...who did I miss? I would prefer Pardy over Harrison but would prefer neither if I had a choice.- Next year's line up?
Postma would have to be re-signed and what do you do with Clitsome...just asking, not disagreeing. - The Wild Card race aka hockey's Final Four
