In Case You Missed It
Textbook example of an immensely talented player with a pile of dog turds for an attitude. Shawn Lemon should tweet this at him and Dennis: EDIT: here's a link showing the infraction of that gutless douchecanoe: http://3downnation.com/2017/07/05/riders-duron-carter-fined-trying-rip-opponents-head-off/

2017 NHL Off Season
I'm sure having an 'A' factors into it but it's not a necessary requirement in getting a 'C' on one's jersey. Captaincy factors in numerous elements of a player: leadership, skill, attitude, etc.

2017 NHL Off Season
Best part is it's exact same term and money as his previous contract. And Mason's AAV is the same as his previous contract, too. But a shorter term. It'd be nice to know what other teams had offered to both of them.

New Mosaic Stadium & Investors Group Field
Another pitiful deflection. Just a heads up: if the Riders continue on their current path, Mosaic 2.0 will have lots of empty seats in 2018 and 2019... And perhaps even this season if the Jonestown Circus continues to reside in the rectangle province. 8 wins in 38 games played since 2015, and only one against a divisional opponent. Glass houses, banjo picker. Glass houses.

Does the T in TBURGESS stand for triggered or tantrum? Or both?

What's not to understand...? Chad Owens wears #2. Again, I'm not sure what's so difficult for you to comprehend. Did the Riders activate Chad Owens, who wears #2, for week 3? Pretty alarming when basic math and basic language skills are non-functional.

Reassessing Chris Jones' Riders
Count me in this camp. They lost a tight game on the road to a pretty meh Alouettes team. And then lost to kick off their new digs. To a bitter rival. In OT due to a botched FG. I can't see them winning more than 6 games this season. If they lose to the Ti-Cats this week, there's going to be trouble in the rectangle province.

Looking Ahead: Winnipeg Vs Calgary
A better game on the defensive side of the ball will be key this Friday. Hopefully, the necessary adjustments are made and we see a more consistent effort across the board. Home field advantage could help. Offensively, a quicker start would be nice. Last week's first quarter was hideous, so getting a major or two on the first few drives would go a long way in getting the crowd into the game but also taking some pressure off the defense.

In his first start of the season... You're complaining about two missed opportunities. He still threw 4 (career high, BTW). Never satisfied with anything, eh? The life of TBURGESS. You were probably upset back in '90 when the Bombers only won by 39 points. "Should've been 40!"

Why don't we use Weston Dressler as a rturner?
Lankford isn't the answer, IMO. But no to Dressler. He's a top receiving weapon and it needs to stay that way. Hopefully, Thorpe can be that returner when he's healthy. If not, McDuffie back in blue and gold would be great.

Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg
Post. Of. The. Decade. He's got a winning record as a QB. And is now 11-3 as a starter since joining the Bombers... Oh, and 4-0 against the Jonestown Dumpsterfires. This comment really speaks to an alarming lack of knowledge on the fundamentals of football. Can't even spell Okpalaugo properly, FFS. And it's comical how you constantly rebut with digs at IGF. That's basically saying "My understanding of football is dog crap, so I'll deflect and look completely moronic on this forum while vainly badmouthing a beautiful CFL venue." Let's be real here: the only people requiring head protection at our stadium come from the rectangle province... And they're forced to wear it all the time. Here's a fun fact: the Riders are the only team since the re-addition of Ottawa to lose to the team with a week 1 bye. And another fun fact: the Blue Bombers have the first win ever at Mosaic 2.0!

CFL To Celebrate Canada 150 On Saturday
Personally, I think that's an serious insult to trees, which help provide oxygen. Greenies just spew hot air.

CFL To Celebrate Canada 150 On Saturday
No idea. But the formation below him looks like a deformed tree trunk that's trying to eat him.

Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg
They intercepted a boatload of balls. The issue was the pash rush, which led to opposing QBs getting lots of time to make their reads, which led to a lot of yards given up through the air. Hopefully, the pass rush is vastly improved this season and that should only benefit a ball-hawking secondary.

2017 NHL Off Season
Yeah, I agree. Not sure why Emelin was on the Jets' radar, but I'm glad that trade didn't pan out.

2017 NHL Off Season
Lame article. Maybe... He's a small defender and lacks a physical presence, so some choose to focus on that and criticize him solely on that basis. However, the analytics show Enstrom is pretty solid defensively and an asset to the team's blue line, particularly because of his LH shot. His absence when he's been injured has shown to only hinder the team. It didn't come across that way at all. Condon re-signing with the Senators was a given.

- Solving Our Goaltender Problem
Not at all. It's in the Jets' best interests to contact both and see where each player stands, what they're expecting, and what's expected of him. Due diligence on the part of a GM who plans to dip into free agency in a meaningful way this year... Something Cheveldayoff has to do. Based on how the rumours/reports emerged, I'd imagine Elliott was the higher priority. He and Mason are both worth contacting prior to free agency to determine who's the better fit.- Solving Our Goaltender Problem
Which means a call from Chipman is probably just around the corner.- 2017 NHL Off Season
And doesn't mean much when you consider what a disaster the Sabres were last season across the board. +/- is not a sound metric by which to measure a player, much less using it alone to say you'd rather pass on a LHD, something the Jets need.- Drew Wolitarsky
Yeah, gotta pin those incompletions on that QB who appears to struggle with making clean throws.- 2017 NHL Off Season
Using +/- is a very poor way to make whatever point is you're trying to make. Wanna try again?- 2017 NHL Off Season
Wouldn't Morrissey and Trouba be a pairing? They seemed to work very well together last season.- SASKATCHEWAN @ MONTREAL
