I'm of the opinion it's more due to SMS restrictions than the players' respective talent/skill sets. Gaitor is a CB, anyway. I'd love nothing more than to have a secondary consisting of the following: Gaitor - Walker/Alexander/other - Loffler - Heath - Randle I'm not sure if that's financially viable, though. I hope the Bombers find a way to keep Heath because he and Randle and a ridiculously good tandem on the boundary side.

I agree but I think was done intentionally last season to insulate the position due to who was starting there. Hurl is not a starting calibre MLB. If the team acquires a proven MLB, which is something that has to happen, I can't see Hall employing the same defensive design.
