this 400k move at this time was planned all along...new ownership, new attitude and new players...this was all orchestrated in favor of getting the Elks back healthy again, and bringing those fans they lost back to the park. the Edmonton regime new it was gonna go down this way, that's why they bought up the talent on day one. the main 3 have always propped up this league...us,Sask and Edm....we need Edmonton back healthy again...i just wish it didn't cost us so much to do it.   

Cutting Woli. is exactly what many people want them to do every year, once they had Clercius up to speed, they moved on to the younger and cheaper player.  There was no justification to ask Woli to stick around as a backup, so they set him free so he could find a new team to extend his career.  Win/win it worked out for both sides.

If changes are needed after 3 failures why are ppl throwing tantrums anytime a player that we didn’t win with the last 3 years signs elsewhere then. You can’t demand change then complain when it happens. That’s ridiculous. Nothing the team does is good enough for a few of you. That’s not on them. I’d look at upgrading the DL. Definitely a guy like Ceresna or Brinkman would be nice. Either or there. Good with either one of the 2. 
 
I wouldn’t overpay for lawler. Cuz Schoen Demski Mitchell Clercius with Brady is already a solid group. The O sucked last year. Think we need to try a different approach. More Brady and short gain than Hail Mary circus catches to one guy. I’d love lawler back tho. Think they can grab lawler or Lewis still and a Brinkman tho. 
 
it wouldn’t shock me to see a release or 2 before camp also at this point. I’m looking kyrie and Jake’s way regardless of signing new deals. Jake has the Canadian passport tho so that does matter a bit here.
