Ok, your view- I respect that. Why do you take this stance? I am curious- if you have evidence or studies (peer reviewed preferably and from a reputable source would be even better) I would like to see this, as I know there are two sides to this.

I think the case is, he will support anything and anyone (no matter how odius) that is the opposite of the progressive left. And, that is his right absolutely.

my Sympathies for Spicer only go so far. True, he has to interpret and divulge the president's thoughts on things (no small task and one that leads to insanity) to the press, and I give him a lot of leeway for having to do this close to impossible task. On the other hand- he fought tooth and nail for this position, knowing full well what he would have to do- so, to him I say "have at it and enjoy".

Good post and I agree with most of what you are saying- but I don't think people will have to wait on the House changing... I think that Trump will become so toxic and unpopular that in a move of self-preservation before the next biennial vote , Republicans will impeach him and go to the people "See, we are all about protecting 'Merica". It's Win-Win for Rebuplicans... show the people that they are about protecting the Republic from a wanna-b-dictator, thus having a much better chance at re-election and keeping the House and Putting Mike Pence in as President... I still believe Trump will get impeached within two years by his own party. Of course, all the above is rendered moot "if" there is another 9/11 or 'Merica invades brings democracy to another country.
