Patrik Laine's agent Mike Liut was on Sportsnet’s Starting Lineup today. He indicated that Patrik Laine reached out to Bryan Little immediately regarding comments in Finnish news. Said 29 & 18 are "more than fine".

Don't agree with that logic at all. Besides, what did he score last year? 15? Give someone else a shot on the 2nd line and I bet that they could handle that level of production. Hell Copp, I think had 11 goals, playing less games and with much lesser talent.

Potentially losing Buff sucks, obviously, but the timing of this is just brutal. If he had decided this months ago, the Jets could have acted accordingly in free agency. I got to believe he'll come back for a final season and not hang the team out to dry.... Unless there's something more to this?

Couldn't he have contemplated this during the off season?? Don't get me wrong, Buff has earned the right to make a decision that is best for him and his family, but by waiting this long, he's really put the Jets in a tough spot. The timing of this is really strange.

This is the most likely scenario. He knew the situation when he came here, so it's not like he just got pissy about his role with the team.

I couldn’t understand why the refs did absolutely nothing to stop his BS. Give him a warning and if he continues, throw the flag. Grow some balls and earn some respect.

As per Bauming... Jermarcus Hardrick returned to participation, while Cody Speller’s status remains in question after missing the last two games. Darvin Adams and Craig Roh both look good to go this week.
