I don't know what Wheeler and Buffs current status is, but I heard from a very reliable source, that they had a physical altercation, in the locker room, last season. Maybe that has played a part in all of this? Maybe that falling out, plus his ankle? Maybe Maurice and coaches sided with Wheeler? Who knows? One thing we all know.... This has been a huge pain in the ass.

I'm ready for a coaching change, but that's a pretty big stretch. Who says the coaching staff had anything to do with this situation?

Will he develop as a QB though? I hope that's the case, but he may be seen a utility guy down there and not get a lot of true QB reps. I guess we'll see how it plays out. Good luck to him.

I don’t know if this season is salvageable, it sure doesn’t seem like it, but if they don’t think Maurice is the right coach, moving forward (and I realize that’s a big if), why not make the move now? There’s a very good coach available. The team needs a change in direction... Maybe it would be enough to push them back into the playoff conversation.

I’m aware of the issues you mention, but to not acknowledge that Maurice is a huge part of the problem is just really short sighted. I actually like Maurice, but his time is up... Let him go and bring in Gallant. I bet there would be an immediate difference in how the team plays. Did you hear his post game comments? He’s lost.

Yup. Not really sure why Murat would even bother with that tweet. There is no one thinking about the playoffs and this team, right now.
