So how much further does shedeur sanders need to slide in the nfl draft before the riders add him to their neg list? 🤣

Suitor would be a sour cream. Kate would be a Boston cream filled with axe body spray. Matty would be rum raisin. but most of this forum would be old fashioned.

Full confession, I may apply for a writing job with TSN. New half time interview segment idea: If you were a Timbit, which kind would you be?

We need a few Ehler's laser beams - top corner.

Ayomanor tumbling down draft boards means he may get picked Monday after all

Another 2 day break? The NHL really wants Vilardi and Ehlers back don’t they?

It's a thing for sure. I used to watch a lot more tennis than I do now but you'd have the American broadcasts trying to be the entertainment, pushing whatever pre-match story they had concocted... but then you'd get a British or Australian feed and they were just calling the match talking about what was happening not doing all this excessive over the top hard sell. The sport is the entertainment and the reason we like sports is the element of unknown. Don't force a storyline, don't expect the on air people to be the entertainment, let the athletes dictate the story and be the entertainment.

Unrelated to the bombers but tangentially related to football. Look up a recent picture of Ethan suplee. He was the fat lineman in remember the Titans. And generally always played the fat character in everything.

I thought he was gonna be taken around where Higgins was taken, for sure

I thought he’d go up the draft a little not down. 4ths past half way over. It would be insane if this bumper crop of highly athletic skilled guys slide in the nfl market and ended up here. Usually we see the top end of weak drafts poached hard, we could use a bumper crop sliding past and ending up here early. A lot of value comes from seeing an nfl training camp imo, so if a bunch of guys go to udfa and down that list could be great for the league.

I think he will be drafted late ish 5th plus. Probably by the browns lmao. If not he will for sure get a fa deal. Idk if you can fix a guy like him. His dad isn’t just another bad sports micro manager, he’s the all time worst sports dad with the most power and leverage. This whole thing might ruin his confidence too, plus rookie year nfl tc is a brutal reality check. Im not a fan of his athleticism, arm talent, or any of his intangibles. Pretty much the prototype of what I wouldn’t want in a qb. Despite the hype, I think a lot of teams feel similarly. All the red flags, not nearly enough of the positives

  22. Getting smoked and dominated 7-2 is much different than losing 2-1 in a back and forth game that could have gone either way. Each of the above scenarios require their own type of adjustments/strategies heading into the next game. It’s not the same other than both incurred a loss. And I agree with you, this isn’t just on Helle in being shellacked 7-2, everyone shares the blame.

Welcome to the Elks game tonight. The team is led by the fabulous Ford brothers. One brother creates touchdowns, the other takes them away.
  24. Yeah, I don’t understand it either. It was clearly a goal. That ruling is just cowardice and not wanting to overturn the call on the ice…. It was the easy way out. And in this situation, the call on the ice shouldn’t carry any weight. The ref that signaled no goal was on the opposite side of the net from where the puck crossed the line. There is no chance he could see where the puck was.

I watched it a couple of times. Not for me. Just the same thing over and over. Give me 10 minutes of PLAP explaining something once a week instead.

Depends on the market. Some of the buildings in LA, Vegas places like that have been paid for by the owners. CFL scenario the big thing would be controlling/managing the facility and not just being a tenant.

I think a private owner could make money playing in a government funded stadium that they control. That's the basic conditions here. The government wrote down the stadium debt twice so the Bombers through BBB just had to service the one $10 million loan. Otherwise according to the original plan they'd be plowing $4.5 million a year onto that debt line. Still would have made some money but in lean years would be quite dicey. I'm perfectly fine with how this all played out, but I think it is really hard for a CFL franchise to be run competitively and profit in this era. The business model basically relies on ownership using the franchise as a marketing vehicle or for personal glory, being willing to accept negative cash flow on operations.
  28. It’s not tho. It’s over. It’s done. Jets lead 2 1. Really they could lose 3 games 7 2 but win 4 games 3 to 2. It’s irrelevant
