I was looking at the 2010 draft and the Trashers could have had Nelson in that draft, as they picked 9th and Nelson went in the first round, 30th pick. Who did the Thrashers draft instead? Burmistrov. Man did Chevy get handed a total turd of a team with zero prospects when he took over.

The path is obvious, we sign Alford and have the highest paid but most dominant CFL secondary.

Love adding bolduc. Tons of varied experience in the cfl, strong connection to Logan as well. I also love the diversifying of our offensive coaching staff from guys who orbited around lapo to all kinds of experience outside our norm. (Including Jackson in that as well) Billy Jean is an interesting one. Very well regarded football mind. Feel like he’s a strong Xs and Os guy who is a bit more raw in coaching pro players and positions in general. I’m sure he’s gonna be like James Stanley for the O. He’s gonna be an assistant to the offensive coaches, where as Jackson will be a more experience guy who can support hogan in his transition to full time play caller. We’ve done a great job of bringing in quality, experienced guys front office to coaching staff. Especially when giving younger guys a chance to move up, by surrounding them with highly experienced guys who can help them develop. If those guys can gel with the mafia we should see a lot of fresh looks and adjustments. Half our front office is new, with the 3 pp directors/ scouts, while Costello is the only guy on offence who is holding over at his position. A real interesting take out of that “B.C. is currently slated to pick third overall in this year’s draft but is expected to forfeit that selection due to salary cap violations.” if thats the case im alll for it. They flaunted the cap as bad as any one ever has.

Was hoping to hear Jets traded Heinola, Barlow, and a 1st (and maybe more) to Pittsburgh for Sidney Crosby. Too late? And Elias Petterson is still out there as a centre, but I would not touch that contract without some severe salary retention by the Canucks.

Bombers' 1st pick will probably be 6th. Edmonton forfeited their 3rd overall pick by selecting Zach Mathis on the Supplemental Draft.

Currently pick 7th as Edmonton used their first round pick in the supplemental draft. We'll move to 6th if BC does lose their pick too.

It would be fascinating to watch the Bruins (very tight for that wildcard spot) make the playoffs this year after heavily unloading their existing talent especially with some going to their rivals.

Toronto has a multi-cultural population chock full of soccer fanatics from around the world and it's a hub for 15 million people close at hand. Hold games in Edmonton and it'll be a curiosity that draws farmers from Lacombe and Leduc, the vast majority of Calgarians wouldn't bother driving that far to watch a soccer game.

It’s only a done deal with an extension and appears that’s not happening. Dallas not going over 12 they say. No extension no deal there. Dallas RHD side is ugly AF tho. And as of today it’s Dallas Colorado round 1. Jets need to win the division and let Dallas and Colorado beat each other up.

Elliott had 5 TD passes and like 15 interceptions with his time with us... he wasn't good. He just looked "decent" because Pierce was a shell of himself and our other back ups were terrible. Brink played scared , Boltus had 3 ints and multiple fumbles while connecting on only 8 completions with us, and Goltz was in a commercial.

All in Hamilton is paying Wolitarsky about $30,000 more than the Bombers had him signed for. Seems like a little more patience in this situation could have yielded something in trade, even an extra draft pick.
