Basically if your planning on stacking the box, or taking away the run/passes close to or behind the line of scrimmage. You're going to be vulnerable in other areas, specifically for the riders, areas where they have struggled this year ie down field passes to say Lawler or Wilson/demski etc. And to be fair, if I'm coming into the PAS and it's cold, this is exactly what I'm doing. Making Collaros beat you. Don't let Brady get into a groove at all. Keep it in the hands of #8.

If you're a QB in a league where 6 of 9 teams make the playoffs, and your team didn't, there's no way in hell you can win MOP.

I have no issues with the Riders having all stars or even winning awards. All I care about is our team winning championships. Infact the way I look at it. Give them all the awards and all star selections. They’ll have a lot of guys asking for big raises in the off season and in a salary cap era I say good.

Problem is the CFL media is terrible. I mean, Farhan gets a vote, right? The guy who thinks we should be part of the XFL and that Rourke is a top 20 QB in the world? Naylor gets a vote and is STILL pushing the CFL into the USXFL.

9-49, 12-42, 11-43 rushing. 9-80, 1-9, 6-60 receiving. thats 283 yards from scrimmage over 3 games with him. Averaging out to 16 touches yielding 94.33 yards per game. That, in warm weather. I’m mainly concerned if we will use Brady enough. He’s a real hard guy to take away from the O. You can’t really be aggressive in the gaps and the flats with out massive down field problems. I’d really like to see us send Brady on a wheel deep. Teams struggle to get to the flats on him, send him deep and they will have nightmares.

Hearing some very good things coming out of the Bombers corporate meeting. Lets just say the Bombers are financially set for a long time.

In case anyone needed more proof of what a class act Brady O. is, he came out to my son's U13 A3 hockey final today (he is neighbors with one of the boys on the team) to watch the game, give the kids a speech in the room at the end and hand out the player of the game award for us. The kids were absolutely pumped and I am sure are now Bombers fans for life.

The Bombers handled Sask and BC pretty easily this year once they got their **** together. So I'm not sure where that is coming from

I didn't listen to it but I guess Jamie Nye was on WST today and said Sask is gonna beat BC and regardless of who comes out of the WSF, they're definitely going to beat Winnipeg in the final. I mean, maybe he's right but to be THAT certain is quite something.....

Yeah best thing for collaros was lapo ******* off. Would have been a disaster. Collaros is bad at the short passing game. I actually think though that collaros has been playing as well lately as he has all year, probably the best he has all year (rest of the offense not so.much) but I've got enough faith in collaros at the moment.

actually yeah he has good hands....ZC tho has poor touch on the outlets and screens....you even saw with Harris his touches there went way down

Brady has made tough catches before. His hands are fine imo.

Hard to do in cold weather games. I'll just be happy if we win our next two, even if Zach is underwhelming. If he had the hands I think they would have done it long ago. They had Harris on wheel routes all the time because he had great hands. I don't think BO is quite there yet, but is working on that aspect of his game.

I have no desire to push Wade Miller out the door. I would also much rather that he stays too. But given the clearly exceptional job he's done managing the business side of the Winnipeg Football Club and entrusting the right people with football operations, I think it's natural to wonder whether he'd be considered for commissioner and if he'd relish the challenge of leading the league.

Fans will not make this call. Fans cannot push Wade, have you seen him?

I just want to see Zach finally have an outstanding playoff run stats wise, I don't believe theres been a game yet in the playoffs where hes dominated. I want to see him be able to go out and put up points, keep the defense fresh, and give the Bombers a chance at all 3 phases being complimentary to eachother......this all includes Buck and play calling too.

Divisional all star votes are a joke. Dobson improved an awful lot over the year. Especially in the back half. Don’t think he’s an all star calibre guy though. May be worthy of that next year with more consistency. (And I love Dobson) Most of those guys got their nods on reputation and hype. I believe he signed a futures deal for next years camp with the ALs. But tbh he wasn’t my favorite of that group and they are all really close. I think and hope this will be it for biggie. Wade has done a fantastic job since he took over. Since the 19 gc, it’s been gravy. Our franchise is gonna be secure for a long time.

And I'm not picking on sask either, cause WJ don't deserve to be an Allstars this year either.

I'd like to see any variation(s) off stuff we ran this yr...anything...something....we been so damn predictable...plain and I think easy to scheme against due to our reluctance to do anything different and this bad habit of relying/standing pat with things...seems to have infiltrated a bit from roster, to play calls now....unless we been sitting on something all yr just waiting to bust out now and catch everyone flat footed I see us doing the same ol same ol...because that's just what we do....hope it's enough but have some skepticism and some fears creeping in May be enough...likely enough to getthru WF but in Grey Cup...The Al's or Argo's will coach our ass off...again...and out scheme us...again

Given the rule that it’s not reviewable unless it’s called a turnover I think refs should just err on the side of caution if it’s close and just call it a turnover and let the CC get it right. It shouldn’t be about whether you’re “embarrassing” the refs, just about getting it right. I think most educated fans understand that close calls need replay and the refs are just human. Like they did in the first half of LDC where Zach had 218 yards!

My theory is that a lot of the media don’t actually watch all the games, then base their award votes off stats. Separate point, with so many ratio breakers now on D, is it out of the question to have separate MODC and MOOC awards like they do with the main ones?
