Ran into a bunch of argo at the Fairmont at lunch today. I jinxed them, hissed and ran away. I kid, I told them they were going to lose, wished them luck and well wishes for player's safety and no injuries. They were a good bunch.

MBT is 100% right on the short weeks. Even with our high school team had a Friday game then a Wednesday game. 4 of the 5 season-ending injuries we’ve had this season happened in the Wednesday game on the short week. Need that recovery time but also the prep time to be prepared to play the most physical sport. Players should be fighting for a minimum of 6 days between games and league needs to figure it out. Season is almost 22 full weeks now so should be able to sort it out to get 18 games in on 6 days rest each minimum.

Edmonton will come back without problems if they fix their ****. Calgary has always had the issue of only wanting to support "the best" it really is more like a redneck Toronto. yeah, at the time the Neuf trade was kind of a nothing trade -- guy with big injury question marks vs. legit star rush end with NFL aspirations ... but it turned out real nice for us in the long run. I recall arguing at OB about this being a trade with massive upside for us and I'm so rarely right about these things that my victory lap on it will probably last far beyond the end of Neuf's career.

So for all the talk on sites like CFL.ca about the Argos run D leading the league, Brady ran for 96 yards (7.4 ypc) and had 6 catches for 51 yards the last time these two teams played.

He’s been on and off active roster since Banjo Bowl 2022 and gets passed by the new crop every training camp as a vet now. My expectations are subterranean for him as a regular contributor on D.
