  1. Confirmed Bighill is no longer an issue on D as per Facebook and the comments below that post.
  2. Playoffs? You're talking about PLAYOFFS?!?!?!?!

O'Shea also pointed to something I hadn't thought of on the PI...that Amos's leg is turning Demski's lower body.
  4. I want the freedom to complain about ALL areas of this team.

Let's put it this way... I'd use less Canadians on the Dl and Ol before I took Kramdi out.
  6. We could actually start five American OL without changing the ratio. Demski, Woli, Oliveira, Clercius, Ford, Kramdi, and Thomas would still be our starting 7 Canadians and Stanley Bryant, Willie Jefferson, Bighill, or BA could all count as the 8th (nationalized American). Not that we even have 5 American OL in house... Just saying it's possible.

Ford was also playing against a team that was up three or so possessions at the time. You have a lot more freedom to freelance as a QB during garbage time.

But collaros was good this game, even the pick wasn't his fault, he threw it to demski but the command centre pooched the review. Best game of the year collaros played and if he plays like that the rest of the year I am 100% ok with that.
  9. Transactions: Whitehead moved to the active roster. McGhee and Bridges back to the practice roster.
  10. liked your passion on the Coaches show about the Argos getting a time-out after the 3 minute warning after losing the challenge, I hadn't thought of that one.
  11. BLM would get destroyed behind our saloon door of an o-line.

That was absolutely ******* incredible. Because the ref called "Timeout Toronto," reset both clocks and then the clock ran anyways. So did they actually get the timeout? Or just ******* around with the flow of our offense. That ref crew needs to take a seat.
  13. This is a prime example of why stats, in isolation, are meaningless. They don’t tell the story of how many tackles he’s outright missed .. how many times he’s been dragged for extra yardage or run over .. they don’t show the plays he should have made if he was a few steps faster. I don’t think Bighill is the biggest issue on defense and you see that in some of the plays he makes, when he’s instinctual .. short yardage is a perfect example of this .. that said, anyone denying that his overall play has fallen off has their head in the sand. He doesn’t have the range he used to. He’s not as physical as he used to be. He doesn’t shed blocks and flow like he could in years past. He doesn’t react as quickly as he used to in pass coverage. These things matter and it’s why we should be grooming the next guy while Biggie still has some utility. I love Bighill and his leadership can’t be underestimated but time catches us all.
  14. Ah this never gets old LOL ...

He could be actually...Schoen wont be ready for start of season....and even then may take a while to get back...Bailey is only just 30....yesterday...not like he is Biggie age...and also guys Like Wilson need to prove their worth too as a legit player.....other than him...we have unearthed nobody to make Bailey if signed expendable....If anyone won't be brought back it's probably Lucky....Unless he gets his chance finally here....which he should have already and rips it up...then why not offer him a TC invite Bailey brings a lot to the team...and it's been sorely missed we like everyone in the buildig...they are all starters...thats why they are here...ummm....okay

Anytime I see the bible thumpers screaming and crying about drag shows, I smile.... So the parts that I've seen, I thought were wonderful. Again, inclusivity is always a good thing.
  17. I feel like he does that all the time nowadays lol
  18. It was back to back plays at the goal line. A single yard on 2nd and 2 and stuffed on 3rd and 1. He never saw the field again after that. And let’s not be condescending .. I know how short yardage works.

Exactly....Osh doing his Osh'in is the only coach to do that....and it's not as they are the best option on the team...It's his Canadiana agenda.....and if those were our best options...we have serious flaws in scouting/recruiting then You forgot to mention all those other coaches utilize the Nationalized player as well....another thing Osh refuses to do...cause he was a lone wolf vote against it....so this is his soapbox statement Personal agenda and bias over team....is that truly what you would want leading a team?....and dont anyone chime in with the "ya buts...4 cup appearances".....holds no weight or value the last 2 losses...and whats compounded this yr
  20. The bombers were scheduled to have a meeting with his agent yesterday so a deal could still be in the works (or already done and just hasn't been announced yet).

Watching some of that debacle again (masochistic tendencies, I know)...........this interior OL is still pure trash, need at least 2 guys there....... Root of problems.....

He also goes on to say that this is hand fighting and that it’s a slippery slope to make those calls. Not only did the DB run through the receiver but he’s restricting him from making a play on the ball. Not hand fighting. It’s a bad take (and it should have been PI). Don’t apologize for shitty officiating - demand more of them and the league.

A Bailey sure would be nice...and he could drop right in...he's in game shape and knows our offence...he hasn't forgot his role from last 4 seasons...

Looked like wolis first instinct was to grab his lower back
  25. Closed practice evaluation appears to have been a success!! Hopefully Lucky is a lot happier the next time someone sees him in the South Pembina McDonalds.

based on the craptacular receiving work from some of the other guys...should he have not been getting a hard look already??...like wtf?? and I have no reason to believe or take anything from the injury reports as truthful or legit....Woli got a rib...hip/lower body injury....grabbed at it when he was hurt....came back and could barley run/move with any intent....but report says "shoulder".....I call bullshit on that...his movements and limitations when he tried to come back in no way showed a shoulder issue
  28. oh dont get me wrong...I agree.....Thomas and Kolo need to evaporate sooner than later...but we are also in this position due to negligence and neglect re: our roster and player assessment We would be no worse...and likely much better off with Dobson/Eli/Wallace....Demskii...BO and Woli....with Clercius in Johnson's spot, and roster Murphy and Sign Bailey who can be Nationlized due to injury to one of Woli/Demski/Clercius in game and dress Murphy in lieu of Thomas as additional National WR depth......And have no need for any Canadian "starter" on defense save for Ford...who is a legit talent....don't even have to declare him as a designated national spot on defense so if he does get hurt you can replace him with any import......and then you could allow Kramdi to be what he is...a good rotational piece...spot starter due to injury, or move him around on the defense in different spots... safety...SAM... and on certain sets and schemes. That right there alone just with who we have in house would make us a better team...way more versatile...
  29. Well, that settles things.
  30. Granted, Kramdi played well last game especially in the first half. However, he has not been fine at that position in the previous games.

Rather than "lucky to be 2-6" I actually think we could just as easily be 6-2 with a few breaks going our way. We were good/deep enough to win those games in the past, and now we're just good enough to lose this year...
  32. That does a disservice. We can talk about both. The defense is playing pretty good but it could be better if they shore up the middle of the D. Would take some pressure off the offense if they get better.
  33. 2 points
He is nowhere near as bad as you think. Allstars? Nope. As a 7th starting Canadian fine. Problem is we have about 3 or 4 7th starting Canadians.

Nah man Collaros was good that game, even in the face of constant pressure up the middle taking a **** kicking. How many sacks did Toronto wind up with? They had 4 scoring drives taken away because receivers or running backs coughed the ball up, plus the 3rd and 1 poor spot at the end. Forget the score, forget the numbers whatever they were, it was the most accurate and in control Collaros looked all season. Even vs. Calgary he still needed some highlight reel catches to look good. Didn't need that vs. Toronto.
  37. lol nobody is trading for Collaros
  38. At the end of his NFL journey Rourke is going to have a T-shirt from nearly every NFL franchise. He's "Kevin Glenning" it right now lol...

Demski was wearing the DB like a backpack before the ball got there. I would dearly love to hear an explanation of how it was not PI.

How come? Are we really going to blame Pierce for the lack of receiving talent and OL talent and massive deterioration of Collaros play? Pierce didn't call all those fumbles on Saturday.

Jones goes in and is sticking people, laying hits... bighill is getting run over... Jones a d Wilson as lbs plz and thanks. And let's see what ayers can do. Bighill has no future. Yeah to me looked like a shot to the ribs, maybe hip. Surprised it's not a thorax injury to be honest.
  42. it was actually a "shoulder thorax"...
  43. Edmonton has been telling themselves that for 3 seasons.
  44. The D has been solid but we could really is some more big plays and turn overs from them.
  45. or me after a Grey Cup game....
  46. I agree. If we are really looking to try and salvage this season and make a push for the playoffs, there's a spot for Bailey. Both of the guys you listed have shown nothing. Contributed nothing. If we are looking forward to next year, then I can see the organization passing on Bailey with the idea that they are going to try and bring these guys along. It's pretty clear, this team misses a guy like Bailey who has a bit of juice (energy, fire, compete, hunger .. whatever you want to call it).
  47. Aren't you cute. Two plays back to back with our heavy set on the Hamilton 2 yard line .. 55 minute mark .. and please don't try to tell me we weren't trying to punch it in right from the get go or that short yardage means that we're only trying to pick up a single yard or some nonsense like that. Let's not be disingenuous. The offense and Pigrome failed to convert on back to back plays and Pigrome never saw the field again in short yardage situations.
  48. Big no to McCheese from me. He’d look worse than Collaros behind our oline.

I not normally one to use reffing as an excuse for a loss...and bemoan it too much as a lot of times it's equally as crappy both ways, and more times than not don't really effect the outcome of the game...but that one was blatant and had a huge effect on the outcome, and the PI we challenged and then got a call stands decision as well was pathetic....it's shameful on the league
