Well he does work in Ottawa and they (Rough Riders) have drafted a dead player before so this does make some sense!

Some combination of an OL, DL and either a LB or WR with our top 3 picks seems ideal imo.

You just gotta know that Bethel-Thompson will request that room on his next stay in the Peg...................Fastest growing city in North America in 1913 when rail was king......the days when most of my family worked for the railroad before and after the hey day... CP/CN were a big employer in the Peg, back in 'the day'

Next fb we roster is going to be a monster producer like mike sellers. But he will be standing in the shoulders of the giant that is damnian Jackson. next time we sign a guy with a heavy military pedigree I’m gonna be real nervous and suspicious. Next guy maybe Schmekel again.

My take awhile ago was this team does not win without Vilardi....Now to be fair the club has won quite a few without him being in the line-up BUT it's getting down to crunch time and we appear to be going into the late season 'down the toilet' trick....Blame it on the schedule ..sure.. but as far as I'm concerned winning clubs respond by digging deep and pulling off stretch wins with an all out effort....Didn't see that in Wash, NJ or Long Island.......Spleen injuries are 'touchy' to come back from in heavy contact sports, without risking further injury....I'd luv to see Vilardi back in action as he definitely would be a difference maker..Will the club risk putting him in the lineup in the final run ....kind of doubt it....so here we sit ...and I don't like the picture I'm seeing ///???

Real sneaky good hire by the Stamps today. Beau Baldwin is a good QB coach.

and I think future generations will look at Gyllenhaal the same way... the guy is a truly great actor.... but originals are almost always better.

last night I finally got around to the new Road House (it's not gonna change the world, but it was fun...) and The Iron Claw (really powerful.... incredibly sad family legacy). Capped it with a documentary on Netflix about the making of the "We Are The World" song back in the 80s... really interesting story behind that and a neat look at Pop music at that time. Definitely recommend all three...

Herzog wasn’t near that bad. 4.55 40 39” vert 10’ broad 6.94 3cone 4.2 shuttle Augustine 4.77 40 30.5” vert 9’2 broad 7.34 3cone 4.4 shuttle herzogs numbers are better than some imports we’ve signed this and most years Chisari was similar range but a bit better than Augustine’s numbers. Augustine put up 22 reps which would’ve tied hladik for most among backs. to put it into perspective herzogs relative athletic score for the nfl is 7.4 out of 10 his scores main weakness is his height and weight. Augustine’s RAS is 1.23. His main weakness is every thing other than the bench press. * the ras doesn’t include the split run times for either as It isn’t listed from the cfl. Going off some nfldraft scout times Herzog would go down to a 5.89 out of 10. Those times aren’t super reliable though. And that’s still a ton Better than say grant at under 3. Brady would’ve had a 7.33 with all Poor running numbers. If Brady had run herzogs sprint numbers he would’ve scored almost a 9 and been nfl bound for sure.

Chevy is gonna win the gm of the year award. At what point do we realize it’s the players on the ice. What more could Chevy do exactly to help them besides getting them mental help. Cuz that’s what it is. Mental. It’s effort level. It’s compete. The nhl has tons of parity and the team who wins is usually the one who out competes the other team. How do you dominate the rangers 5 on 5 then **** the bed the next 3. Effort. Compete.

This team just looks gassed. Needs more than one day off between games and get a bit of a breather. Also, I don't have access to much Winnipeg media, what's the word on Vilardi? Is he coming back this year or not? Man we could use him right now.
  18. Doesn't this happen with this team nearly every year though?

That’s a good guy for sure. Prolific after transferring up here. Some ncaa experience, had to play a lot of teams down south to earn a shot. Great size and build. A lot of backs are in that 5’10 205 range but frame can vary a lot. He’s really built to play rb, probably would’ve put up a good number on the bench. Some high school track. Success too. Didn’t put up amazing numbers but I think it’s just a case of being a guy that excels in a different range. He’d be a great value pick in the mid to late draft. And we love the oua.
