Would not be sad to see Houston go...or sign for bigger bucks up here elsewhere...take him right out of the equation and no worries that Osh will roster him over someone else more deserving..hopefully that happens in a few other positions too..take the choice right out of his hands

Can't understand why the RB's are not looking at MBT as a quick and easy replacement for their Masoli woes, take salary from one, give to the other. They could end up with a solid QB room with Crum and Adams behind MBT.

Ford is under contract through the 2024 season and Jones did declare him the starter heading into camp but in the same breath said "things can change" (not that what Jones says publicly is worth all that much)

Not sure how it helps the Corny 100k situation but MBT I think has won more than he's lost. He's kooky but that 93.0 qb rating isn't. EDM can't just keep losing, MBT should help. Ford makes a great insurance policy and change of pace, and Corny... maybe he gives good hugs or something

And KSB is not a smooth receiver...or even an adequate route runner...he's getting a look based on exact same thing as Lenius...body type...and that's it...

I think the line between a successful CFL starter and a bum is extremely thin. That's why veteran QBs can lose their mojo so suddenly, especially after a serious injury. Like imagine if Doug Flutie was a quarter second slower at processing the game? He'd be a short yardage specialist or gadget quarterback instead of a GOAT.

yes well let's hope with the malcontents that were a part of last year's slump now banished to New York and LA, I am hopeful that the guys can keep up the intensity this year and keep the wins flowing. The Jets are tough to deal with when all four lines are firing, most teams don't have that kind of depth to skate with us on all four lines, and we make teams pay for that. The Elks can always rid themselves of Cornelius's contract by trading him, I don't know if that means the club that acquires him gets stuck with the guaranteed money, or if they can renegotiate it away. It has to be pretty evident from both sides he didn't earn his keep.

Cornelius will be 29. I'd take a rookie to be the short-yardage/development guy. Bombers have about 4 on neg list.

Still, it would be good to find a short-yardage, younger QB who has potential for a higher ceiling than the very limited Prukop.
