Kuony Deng is a player I’ve been excited about since I heard he was on their negotiation list. You can do a lot of things with a guy like that, he’s got good edge rushing ability but he’s also an unbelievable tackler in open space … I think his numbers his best year at Cal were like 110 tackles in 13 games or something.

Yeah Deng is a classic CFL pressure and tackling machine, as he has the build and athleticism to really find the plays on a bigger field...I actually like the fact he is here now, and we could possibly see a debut vs B.C....Something tells me our roster coming into the last 4 games is gonna see some Hansen/Haba/Deng added to it

With BC at 10-4, every game is a big deal now.

I would prefer that we don't have to play on the road in BC. We might be rolling, but I prefer to see the Lions OUTSIDE in November and not in their cushy dome. Plus, more games means more chance for injuries and less recovery time.

True....But I think our offence, and QB with BO tenderizing meat all game would fare much better than the VAJ and their group of receivers and slight RB....Not to mention our oline and BO pounding that undersized dline into ground chuck.....all happening with deafening noise all around them I almost take this as a bit of a cop out on the Argo's, as I bet even with their full squad, we were gonna beat them, possibly handily....not so much as to not show their cards, as all teams cards are well known now, but moreso for the "yeah but" part

if we re-visit history, and when we went from good to dominant in a playoff run...the lil roster tweaks and under radar additions happened right around now....so we shall see

Oh yeah the argos were so ready to play when they lost to calgary... and they've had some close games that should never have been close as well. Honestly the argos remind me an awful lot of the lions last season. Tons of byes early on and everyone had them pegged as THE team to beat, except they didn't make it to the Grey Cup. Said it before and I'll say it again, how you play in the summer doesn't matter for much in the cfl. How you are playing in the fall is what matters.

Yeah gray is the guy inahd in mind. He's athletic enough he could run a route if they want the misdirection and he can block better than Jackson. Really Jackson... what would you say you DO here?

no...as we had all 3 before...One extra DE is easy....2 is possible with the stupid Jackson thing abolished.....or even an extra DE in lieu of Cole...Or Clements.....as Deng has athleticism to pretty much make one of those guys disposable on game day, and really...Both are never on field at same time on defence anyway.....so would be a good trade off....Jackson offers us nothing that anyone else on the roster can't do...so wasting that DA spot is plain dumb....And his insertion takes a playmaker off the field. Sheed could even fill that role even just as well....been doing similar stuff and obliterating DE's and edge rushers for 3 yrs here now

they are all big now......and the one with the Argo's even tho they may rest a few guys is key...and huge....They don't want to lose, and have doubt there, any more than we do. Kelly is gonna play, and he is gonna wanna see how they stack up against this defense and what they may need to work on, or look to attack if we meet again. This game won't be a game of hiding scheme and gameplan...15 games into the season is basically what you are save for a few lil tweeks here and there, and that like any game is a in game adjustment and how do you counter. We need this win to keep pressure as I can't see them losing to Sadskatewan....so next week should be a battle for who is 12-4 and who is 11 and 5 going into our bye BC then needs to keep pace with a win against Hamilton who is fighting for their playoff position as well, and even tho looked like crap last week they aren't the tire fire they were, and being in the Hammer will be a tough task for the lions We need to sweep these next 2 games basically to be able to breathe easy, so it's time to see if we are who we were....or if we are a team with flaws.....significant enough that if we need to win 2 playoff games to get back to the Cup it is far...farrrrr from a given...We have had too many games this yr where it asks the question of how bad have we regressed

I was 11 years old in 1966. Since the Xmas the year before in 65, I wanted an electric road racing set. Well, after a year of waiting, wishing & hoping, my parents bought me that road racing set. A Scalextric set. I loved it. It still stands as one of the greatest gifts I've ever received. This was the set I used to have: \ I had this car. It was so fast & balanced. Especially in the corners. It wouldn't go flying off the track. When I raced my friends I always raced with this car. I never lost. Plus the track was set up permanently on a table in our rec room downstairs so I could practice by myself all the time. I knew when to accelerate or back off the control stick. IT cost my folks $45 in 1966.

Reality for the Jets Bombers are more fan friendly family friendly and affordable and better bang for your buck. Jets are for the rich. Not really but in reality Bombers season tix for 5 years = maybe 1 year for Jets Choice is obvious For the W over pouting whining ******* every day

Between ticket prices and the relative recent success of the teams, I think the conflict is worse for the Jets, to be honest.

I wouldn’t swap Cole due to his teams play. I’d sit Clements. also add kick schmekle to the curb. I’d swap burtenshaw for him and dress Kelly. I’d also sit Parker for blackmon. I’d consider Agudosi as a da for teams and offensive use. I’d do that if we used another guy to return rather than Blackmon. I’d also sit Bennett if basically any injured ni was actually good to go.

Jackson's TPS reports have also been a disaster.

Is it an excuse to say if they lose it's because the issues that have plagued them a lot of the season showed up? Cause to me they lost because they didn't play well enough to win isn't an excuse... you know like they whole "oh we have nothing to play for, it's preseason in the fall" crap you folks are doing.

yeah....advantageous position they have being in the East with more games vs those turds...and minimal travel inconveniences as well with 3 teams withing pissing distance of them

In case you've missed it, folks here have been talking a lot about the Bombers issues this season. And have been for quite some time. If they lose, it's because they **** the bed again, which has been a common theme too often this season. 1 game vs. The lions and 1 vs. The Bombers... just sad that this is the level of catering the argos get.

If Dukes plays, I really hope we win..... In all honesty though all games really are important as we are tied with BC. This game means a lot more to Wpg. then it does to T.O. We better not come out like we did in the last game against Hammy!

If Dukes starts, I hope we take him out to the woodshed. He looked awful versus Calgary.

Hansen alone would be a nice addition to rotate wit the Jeff's, and if we roster another legit end to go with that.....I like the look of that down the stretch Gimme a Hansen and another end...with a sprinkling of Grant and a dash of Ford, and I would feel good going into play-offs

this is true and I don't disagree, but who wants to take the chance of an extra game? I'll take one game to get into the Cup over having to play 2...

and we have used Gray in the same spot as Jackson....Many forget a few games this yr our depth chart didnt even list a Fullback and we did just fine too without Jackson on roster. We drafted a fullback (Burtenshaw) who actually played that position in University....so why we don't use him is sad to say the least, as we bastardize the defensive depth for a hrdon Oshea has for a player with minimal skill at any position he has lined up for...and obviously he is no demon on teams as he has what...maybe 1 tackle??

If we need a fullback use one of the 7 OL we have on the roster. Otherwise a DE can chase kicks as well (probably better) than Jackson anyway.

Honestly this game is a big MEH for me. I dont think we can take anything away from it, win or lose.
