They need an ability to go to quick passing game especially as Oliviera being such a threat with a head of steam draws D up and inside. Feels like there might be some resistance from the QB to that.

I am aware that by opting out, I am not eligible to sign with any other CFL Club or in any other professional football league other than the NFL during the term of my SPC and should I wish to return to the CFL during the term of my SPC and I’m fit to play skilled football, I must return to [previous CFL team] and sign a new contract for the exact amounts and term of my previously terminated contract. That is the CBA language now for guys under contract and NFL window.

Honestly the entire rider organization including this clown are a joke. It's gonna take a rider dying on the field to smarten those hillbillies up. That mentality is the problem. He's not technically I guess part of the riders but pretty much. Imagine Taylor or Brown saying this type of archaic garbage Bet your ass if it was a rider player on the receiving end, they would be bitching. Just ridiculous Homer mentality. Duh we want backup qbs not stars duh. Honestly

Honestly, Parker does nothing for us in the return game either. If Grant is not ready to play I could care less whether it is McCrae or Parker returning. The only thing Parker does well is catch. His returns are non existent. We desperately need Grant back soon, and if not a new returner that can actually give us some returns.

Part of the issue with the panel is whomever produces it....they want each person to serve as some kind of character, and have synthetic made up point/counter point type stuff...and it is lame as heck...Get 3 people who will actually analyze things...break it down and a former player to add a lil color and insight, and offer something actually of interest....and get rid of Kate....her schtick has run it's course and she offer absolutely nothing....nd I don't know why they feel the need for "inclusion" Just put 4 people on air who will offer the best product

D line needs reinforcements, they are sucking air in the 4th and not getting close to the qb. It's a mystery how an offence with a top rated qb, top rated running back and a group of receivers like the guys we have are having such a tough time getting on track

just a note re: protection for ZC8.......Protection isn't just about the OL. It's scheme and it's everyone on offense. It's easy to blame the OL when protection breaks down, but it could be a receiver or RB missing a block, too. I have no clue what it is, but Zach is clearly rattled and has been for some time, going back at least to the start of the Elks game.

Given the offensive struggles I find it hard to fault them trying to get some field position. Killed all day in that aspect. Bottom line we are supposed to have the best qb, the best and deepest OL, the best receiving corps and best running back..... no excuses for them to struggle. None at all and I'm not going to nitpick at other aspects when the fault lies squarely on the offense. They are all paid too well to play that shitty no matter who they are facing.

I place the TSN CFL halftime panel segment in the same category as the gambling ads....totally irritating and insufferable. Whenever one or the other comes on, I switch channels.

trying too hard to be "entertaining" and really missing the "informing" part. I would prefer 70% inform, 30% entertain. I don't watch NFL, but the little bits I've seen, here and there, of their panels, is something similar....they try really hard to be funny and entertaining, and I think the TSN producers are trying to copy that. It's clearly not working. I rarely, if ever, watch the pre-game or half-time stuff on TSN. I'll either mute it and go do something else for a bit, or I'll listen to CJOB's stuff, which is far better for what I'm wanting out of that time.

We put a 3rd string QB on a short field the entire game. Even a dud like Dolegala will FG you to death if all he ever needs is 15 yards to FG range....and that is exactly what happened. No defence in the world can be asked to win a game like that, therefore, offensively we needed more than 2 yards passing until late in the 2nd Q. Guys dropping balls, and Collaros missing shots where guys are open....and it was done. We get some punt/KR coverage and an O that shows up before half time and we absolutely cream these guys. Before anyone says well maybe the Sask defence was so good that they just shut our offence down...go watch that first half again....dropped balls and inaccurate throws to open receivers.

“WASHINGTON — With more than a year to go before the 2024 election, a constellation of conservative organizations is preparing for a possible second White House term for Donald Trump, recruiting thousands of Americans to come to Washington on a mission to dismantle the federal government and replace it with a vision closer to his own. Led by the long-established Heritage Foundation think tank and fueled by former Trump administration officials, the far-reaching effort is essentially a government-in-waiting for the former president’s return — or any candidate who aligns with their ideals and can defeat President Biden in 2024. With a nearly 1,000-page “Project 2025” handbook and an “army” of Americans, the idea is to have the civic infrastructure in place on Day One to commandeer, reshape and do away with what Republicans deride as the “deep state” bureaucracy, in part by firing as many as 50,000 federal workers.“ https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2023-08-30/conservative-groups-draw-up-plan-to-dismantle-the-u-s-government-and-replace-it-with-trumps-vision

  33. No one would advise that. If he signs in CFL no chance to get back into NFL this season. Each team has 3 injuries a week that’s 100 guys the NFL needs to sign per week. If CFL let guys out when season done maybe he’d be back. Wait until January is killer.

I think this should make em laser focused, and intent on making a statement.....too many quality vets to let this team become a hot headed mess. I'd like to see ...even to see if it just gets a spark...which is what a good coach would do...Jefferson and Willy backed by Haba (Bye Jackson) and if Hansen ready, Mauro you sit Fox in for Mcrae, as really...what did he do that was noticeable last game?....dont need him, and Parker can do all returns....and back up all the secondary spots.....If we feel the need to "start" Kramdi...again....well then we can run set after set of all imports...our best dlineman to create a lot of pressure, as it was apparent...under any type of pressure Dolegala couldn't hit broad side of a barn....With the Jeff's and the crappy rider oline having to contend with brutes Walker and Fox ...withsome Lawson and 5 to 6 reps for Jake all game long they will cave, and our db's and linebackers will feast....woudnt have to send max pressure and let guys run free underneath On offence as well...run some normal regular stuff....put the jumbo package on back burner for a bit, or used sparingly, and allow your playmakers to do what they do...make plays.....and I would test out sets with Eli at center...it's time....and the attitude he brings and the way he manhandles defensive lineman would do wonders all throughout our oline....since we lost Dejarlias and Couture up the middle..we lost some edge...as both were mean ornary buggers...Eli is prob even more ornary and will definately get under the skin of the undisciplined players thing is....the punter isnt helping them...time to also put away the lame sidewinding aussie stuf and start to pound the ball a bit with some hang time....and use the wierd punt here and there to keep teams off guard...what we doing now is not helping coverage teams at all....and whatother team with an Aussie punter do you see do that crap 90% of the time...not grace...not ballsack or whatever his name is in Sask....again....dumb coaching killing us

There are many reasons and causes that people become addicted or over consume alcohol. Indeed it is often to self medicate to hide or mute pain, hurt or other mental issues. Some people's brains are hard wired differently and experience a stronger rush of pleasure causing endorphins. This can overwhelm the brain and it will shut down the reception of those endorphins. This often causes people to respond by drinking even more. Alcoholism or Alcohol Use Disorder is vastly under diagnosed. It takes many different forms but one thing that is the same is the damage, hurt and pain that it causes to those around them. I'm very sorry that you had to go through a childhood like that. I wish you all the best in dealing with it.

You'll never stop Ford's running completely but the only way is by making him throw. He may get to a point where he's a competent passer in this league but UI suspect he'll never be elite. Too much dependency on his legs so he's run first & throw second. He had 136 yards rushinbg & only 119 yards passing & throwing just 19 times. Not a recipe for success as a CFL qb. And of course, the more he runs the higher the risk of injury. We've all seen these young athletic looking qbs come in, dazzle us with their running brilliance only to fade away eventually because they could never throw. So, we'll see if he develops into a Tracy Ham or a Terrence Jones. For those of you who don't know who or never heard of Terrence Jones, he was a super athletic qb who could scramble & run like crazy during his CFL career in the 90's. He would have been best described as a "Coach Killer" because he had all the physical tools to be a success but intellectually it just didn't happen. Coaches who started Jones always lost. We've had plenty of athletic Terrence Jones type qbs come up here & fail. As well as take head coaches down with them. MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin Warns To Take Trump At His Word Over Latest Wild Threat Don’t dismiss Donald Trump’s vow to lock up his political enemies if he wins back the White House, MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin said on Sunday. It wasn’t “hard to imagine him following through,” said Mohyeldin. Mohyeldin recalled Trump 2016’s campaign promises to ban Muslims from entering the United States, to build a wall on the southern border with Mexico, and to strive to end abortion rights by overturning the landmark Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade. All three “seemed like absurd, vindictive moonshots at the time, but in some form or fashion, he in fact did carry out on all three of those campaign promises,” said Mohyeldin. “So when Donald Trump says that he truly plans to lock up his political opponents, I for one take the man seriously,” he added.

It’s a tough spot, first contact is chest to chest. Another tackler is in on the contact and the qb dips down to protect him self. The tackler rides up and has incidental contact helmet to helmet. He couldn’t have done any thing different to protect any one. But at the same time it’s contact the head and with his head. I’m ok if that is a penalty 90% of the time or damn close to it. It can’t be a 50/50 penalty though. Like always the root problem is consistency with cfl officiating.
