5 pointsI was half joking when I posted last night about no changes. Frustrating. Parker needs to go in and they need another DL. Why does this staff use Jackson? No tackles on ST or D and he barely plays outside of teams?5 points- Bombers @ Stamps : Week of Aug 18 Thread

yeah jumping to these conclusions isn't really going to help your case here dude.... I haven't got the energy to get into this particular debate but immediately going to the "you're weird or an incel" argument is just a nicer way of saying "what are you a ***?" if you ask me.5 points- Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news
A. How is commenting on a woman's appearance on topic for "Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news" B. Why do you think it's reasonable for Taylor Lavonne to have her appearance commented upon by a random stranger on a public forum that is clearly not intended to be about her appearance? C. Is finding a woman attractive required to have the thought process of a "normal male" in your view? If you think that's true, take a minute to think about what that says about you.5 points- Bombers @ Stamps : Week of Aug 18 Thread

4 pointsThis feels like a generational thing. Anecdotal evidence only, in my working and life experience the Boomer generation is far and away the group most interested and affected by what anyone else is doing. Best lesson I ever learned was from my Dad (ironically, a boomer) “Does it physically affect you or anyone else? No? Then just worry about what you’re doing, not them”4 points- Castillo vs Liegghio

4 pointsSince you're curious about whether I'm an incel (and I don't think you really understand the anti-feminist implications of that term) or just "very odd" -- I'll out myself as being a member of the latter category. I'll happily identify as a "very odd" feminist husband and father who thinks that commenting on a woman's appearance is a form of objectification when it's irrelevant to the topic (the irrelevance at least we agree upon) and that being attracted to women is not required to be a "normal male" (did you know that "normal" men are not always hetero?). I'll show myself out, but in my closing words I'll invite you to reflect upon who may feel unwelcome by your comments here.4 points- CFL - 2023 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

4 pointsAnybody seen the PC bus bench ads attacking Wab and saying crime will be worse under him? The candidate they have featured on them has tweeted in the past that BLM is a terrorist organization, Blue Lives Matter, that systemic racism doesn't exist within the police and has said that those who want to defund the police should not have access to 911 services. Wab gave a good speech today about how his past helped shape him into who he is today. Honestly, I'm tired of people bringing up Wab's past. Would not happen nearly as much if he was white. My proof, Scott Moe is Premier of Saskatchewan, how often do you hear about the fact he killed a woman because he was driving recklessly?4 points- Bombers @ Stamps : Week of Aug 18 Thread

3 pointsI'm not too sure what advantage film on Brown will give anyone. He ran the Bombers offense with no limitations. His read fakes are a bit more impactful on the rushers/backers because he's not always looking to boot right away and he might actually run himself. Other than that pretty much the same as Collaros. Guy can make every throw, they aren't trying to shelter him at all. A little more sturdy in the pocket and willing to hang in there which might be his youth and not taking so many hits as Collaros has over the past decade.3 points- Manitoba Politics

I'd go Parker for Mcrae...DL for Jackson....and we good anyone of our foot soldiers tho can do his role...prob better especially since he has like 4 yrs of real football experience...in total....and half a yr as a pro...in a version of football he has never played....but whatevs...we likely waste that spot all yr long and not use a nationalized american to further help us cause Osh is what he is..A stubborn I dont know what to call him3 points- Manitoba Politics

3 pointsI actually think @Brandonis right here. The landfill search is dividing people. For theM to come out and say they will do it, will cost them votes. I know lots of ppl who are historically ndp provincially and 9 out of 10 of them say they won't support a search for a needle in a haystack atleast not for almost 200 million $$$3 points- Manitoba Politics

3 pointsInstead of having them go elsewhere, I'd prefer to imagine that we pull a Calgary and have a constant string of star QBs. Until Maier McCheese, when was the last time they had a mediocre starting QB? Since the early 90's they''ve only had to suffer through Drew Tate and Marcus Crandell for a bit. I shudder when I think about some of the trash QB's we have trotted out over the last 30 years.3 points- Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news
I really can't see him get another NFL shot after this, The injury buy-out seems like the end of the road.3 points- Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news
All depends on a teams SMS...he has no PR eligibility left...and he makes too much above league minimum now to be a cost effective guy who at his age...isn't the future with any team...he is in CFL next yr....if not at some point past labour day3 points- CFL - 2023 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
I think he hangs em up after 2025... especially if we win...but...if he still performing at a high level and not dealing with injury after injury...and we have strung a few together after 2025...why would he...and why would we move on? I'd only get rid of ZC if he gets so banged up that he becomes a liability or a shell of his former self like the last season we had Khari or the last two years of Matt Nichols.2 points- CFL - 2023 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

2 pointsRitchie and Bauer were at odds, Ritchie knew it and held tightly to veterans to try and avoid giving Bauer a reason to fire him. It was moreso going with Daley that screwed things than firing Ritchie. Firing Berry was a mistake, the bigger mistake was going with Kelly. Don't fire people and replace them with worse people.2 points - Bombers @ Stamps : Week of Aug 18 Thread
