Seeings QBs step up and perform is good for the CFL. We need a changing of the guard .. we need legit starting quarterbacks to lead teams and show fans, viewers and any who are curious that this is an exciting league worth watching. This has been a fun game to watch.

Being at the Stamps game yesterday gave me a chance to watch Pigrome do short yardage. Let me just say that he handled the situation quite well & watching him do it for the RedBlacks is something I'm not happy about. He was cut to make room for Prukop. Another wacky O'Shea personnel decision. He never gave the kid a chance. Even after what he did in the preseason.

Why would Edmonton trade away one of the few impact players that they have?

i give nobody that benefit...when I see the bad roster move....grey cup appearances or not...those arr moot now....its what have u done lately and if u dont see some bad roster moves...active and PR u arent looking and have blue colored glasses 100 percent of time,,Prukop is what he is...and will be nothing more..Pigrome...was a huge unknown and worth the invested time

Thought it was a bad move......dropping Pigrome and going with a guy who frucked up in the Cup for us....then watching the last games these guys played recently...Pigrome running for a first down easily for Ottawa in the stumps game, and Prukop fumbling us out of a first down against the Elks ????

Wacky? I guess from the outside looking in. A lot of decisions seem wacky to fans but we shouldn't assume we have the information available that the HC does. Pigrome and Prukop are a saw off in terms of talent as 3rd down specialists. Therefore, I will assume that there must have been other flies in the ointment that led to the decision. I do not think MOS cuts seemingly promising QBs without being confident he has done the right thing for the club. Could be Pigrome wasn't happy with his role, could be he was going off script, could be he wasn't meshing in the QB room, could be a lot of things that the fans wouldn't know. I'd love for MOS to come out and air dirty laundry and put our minds at ease sometimes, but it is something he has not and will never do. 3 straight GC championships/appearances. Guess I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think a strong kr/rb especially an athletic ni is the perfect guy to train for these kinds of roles.

Walters announced during the off-season the 3rd QB would not be competing with Brown for the 2nd position but would be given a "Strev. like package" to work with. 7 games gone and we've seen none of that package yet, which could be helpful diversifying the offence.

Maybe Dickenson should threaten his STC Killam for his boneheaded decisions to go for two points on at least 2 different occasions that failed & the botched fake FG attempt. A guy one row up from me was yelling, "Fake, fake. It's a fake!" I asked him how he knew & he said that the regular holder didn't come outwith the FG unit. The backup qb Tommy Stevens did. If a fan coukd see that & knew it was a fake then so did the RedBlacks. Plus it was about third & three. Not a third & one. The Stamps had 6 points left on the field because of dumb playcalling. Enough to have won this game Maybe Killam should be fired. Those were his decisions. Dickenson has to look in the mirror first before passing out blame.

Dickie birds are in trouble.......I hope they don't make any/many changes and stay status quo ...They should go out together

Honestly Pigrome has looked good getting piles of yards on these short yard situations... but that's not really what he's supposed to be doing... he could have guaranteed the 1st down and made a move where he could have lost yards before the 1st. I wonder if he was consistent in "trying to do more" in practice situations

Fun game. Crum looks pretty good. Maier has thrown for a million yards tonight but his arm looks so weak, in my opinion.

Firewagon football! Don't have a good feeling about the redblacks being able to make a three point lead stand up for a whole quarter. Think the Stamps are going to gut this out.

Gettin' Piggy with it. Really like that guy! This game seems to favor his athletic ability. Let's hope that this means CBS ponies up next year and each team gets at least $1 million in TV revenues. I was saddened to see that they only paid $1 million in total for the rights this year, but then I also saw that was 3x what ESPN was paying. It's high time this league received more love from the US given how many Americans play in this league and are given a chance to keep playing the game they love when the teams in their own country don't want them anymore, or didn't give them a fair chance to shine, and they get that chance up in Canada.
