Even if Mike wants to play the Debbie Downer card (you really should leave that up to the pros, bro...) I'm choosing to be excited about the draft tonight. If nothing else, it means we're that much closer to camp starting and it gives us something legitimate to talk about tonight, and for the next week. Next Weds is Rookie Camp and next Sunday is Main Camp. We're almost there!!

Yeah because all the sure things are basically NFL guys. Wouldn’t mind if the Bombers used an early pick on someone like Sidy Sow. Any OL likely to make it into camp are all projects. This is a special teams draft, and not kickers either.

a friend of mine in HS had a copy of a generic Greatest Hits album of Lightfoot's, and I remember it was Rainy Day People that first hooked me. As I got older, and into broadcasting and then music programming, I really understood the genius of his works. Cochrane once described Lightfoot as "akin to one of the Group Of 7 painters..." and that's a really great way to describe his cultural impact. Lightfoot, Tyson, Connors....... few wrote about various aspects of Canada better.

  18. They ignore the value of the Canadian ratio at their own peril. More Brady Olivera’s help teams, not hurt.
  19. the team that likely appreciates Canadian Content more than any other has been in the last 3 GC games, won 2 out of 3, and was a fluke away from winning 3 in a row. That should be the template for every team in the league. CanCon matters....

You love to make every move the Bombers make sound amazing, don’t you? Lol This is legitimately a nothing transaction. I would be shocked if this guy even came to camp. This draft has basically become a giant waste of time, you can tell how seriously teams take it given that it took less than 20 minutes from start to finish for 18 picks. There was one guy in this talent pool who has a legitimate chance and legitimate interest in the CFL and he went first overall.

Stanley Black & Decker, the world’s largest tool company, just launched the largest privately funded onsite solar farm in Kentucky. Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK) worked with Castillo Engineering and renewable energy company RPG Energy Group to bring the 4.3-megawatt (MW) solar farm online. The solar farm sits on nearly 15 acres next to its 280,000-square-foot production factory in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The solar project is producing enough clean energy to power Stanley Black & Decker’s Kentucky factory with 100% clean energy – and also provide excess energy back to the state. The company says the project is going to deliver an annual energy savings of $400,000. Stanley Black & Decker has set a goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. https://electrek.co/2023/05/01/the-worlds-largest-tool-company-debuts-kentuckys-largest-private-onsite-solar-farm/ big business noticing: renewable is cheaper than fossil. period. much of renewable investment in usa is in states led by anti renewable republicans. probably weak labour protection laws, low wages. edit... fifteen acres. not much land at all.

  33. I've said many times before....glad we never went after/and or landed Thorpe...Players don't like him...he's over-rated as a DC and is a toxic personality in a locker room...I stand by Stewart and Ackie...and there are many others who would 100% support removing him

But apparently to people who hide who they really are and use social media to their advantage to mock and patronize by liberally using CAPS anyone who dismisses these four categories as simplistic drivel by yelling that you idiots aren't appreciating the 'fact' that everyone is bad, these are just other 'viewpoints' so stop being divisive living in your echo chambers of fellow libtards. Critical thinkers from all walks of lives and political/social ideologies that are life long learners who believe in individual freedoms and rights meshed with civic responsibilities are now considered libtards, radical thought police WOKE lefties ruining all that was 'good'. This is where we currently are.

There are so many good faith people from all walks of lives and religions I so admire up close and from afar but not so much admiration for others who use religion and faith to spew nonsense and hide behind to do their bad deeds. I remember passing this church and seeing this on their billboard: 'When in doubt choose faith over understanding'. I think some misuse/misinterpret this mindset in certain scenarios and on certain issues.

Right? The book of Genesis alone has some of the most disturbing descriptions I’ve read in my life. There was no problem with 9 year olds reading that at the Bible Camp I was misled into attending as a kid. Funnily enough, they confiscated my SI ‘97 NFL Preview because it had sports betting ads in it.
