I've read that everything wrong with Alberta over the past 50 years boils down to the 4 years the NDP had power. Pretty incredible how powerful that gov't was. They went back in time and squandered generations of financial capital, pissing it away.

Getting rid of Tucker Carlson means absolutely nothing in itself. There is no chance in my mind that his shtick wasn't fully supported by Fox. Fox will continue to cater to the lowest common denominator until it isn't profitable

This training wasn't about dealing with the public. It is geared towards making us all better humans and helping us to treat each other better everyday. I would feel honoured if my private sector employer would offer this training to all of us. Reconciliation is the responsibility of every person that breathes the great clean Canadian air.

So simplistic. You're ignoring the fact (as always) that it was part of Winnipeg's commitment to implement the 94 recommendations of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission. You may have heard of Winnipeg - it has the largest First Nations population of any Canadian city. Not per capita - total. That you don't see the significance of his ignorance says a lot about you.

Totally disagree, he's one of the few councillors who isn't afraid to speak up and say what the people are thinking. One of the few non corrupt in the city that actually represents the working people of the city. If a clown's idea is to remove the homeless camps from bus shelters, clean up downtown by making it a safe place for people to visit, holding the mayor accountable for blowing money on pointless initiatives, making the city a better place for the working, being unafraid to speak ones mind and not become a Yes Man (like Shawn Nason was). Then I guess he's a terrible clown. Their is a reason why he wins every election.

Reading that article confirms for me yet again that Browaty is a clown and has no idea what he's talking about. There are essentially two separate projects happening at the same time: the repair of the membrane and the potential redesign of the intersection. The city knew they would have to tear up the intersection to fix the membrane so since it will be out of commission for a while, they are using it as an opportunity to look at making changes to the design. It's a rare occurrence of city trying to get two birds stoned at once. Browaty can be disappointed all he wants about the lack of info on the underground but that's not what the upcoming public engagement is about.

Man I hope Stanley can use his size effectively. This is a must win and hope the boys are energized. They admitted they were over-excited in the game and tried to hit everything in sight. Just make the hit when needed, otherwise use their speed and chase Brossy out of the net. Win it for Morrissey and Ehlers. GO JETS GO!!!!!

Finished this last night, still trying to wrap my head around all that I saw. Incredibly well written, directed and acted just having a hard time with the story as a whole. To think of how it started to how it finished is a little mind blowing, absolute kudos for telling this story as a Korean/Asian societal series not many would be brave enough to do that but it works so well. Will likely download it and watch it again the next time I travel, I am sure there are things that I missed that would have made it better. As it is I replayed the last scene of episode 9 several times while my wife and I argued about what we saw.

Now finished with the wild - stars game. Stars 3 Wild 2 with 5 minutes remaining in the 3rd. I might have missed it but no mention or evidence of the minny crowd going nuts, struck me as rather subdued, even when the wild pulled the goalie. The tv production had almost no excitement as we saw last night, jets knights in the final period, no comparison. Just an observation.maybe I’ll be thankful for the experience we are having compared to the wild.

  46. Basically how this works is he’s signed with the Rifles and the Bombers are inviting him as a territorial exemption. He can be on the practice roster and keep U Sports eligibility. NCAA is completely different, and he’d likely never qualify to get into a D1 school since he hasn’t attended US high school and is unlikely to perform well on their standardized tests.
  47. Hopefully a new stadium as well.
