We'll see real wages slow down. Corporate profits go up. Taxes go down, debt go up. Environmental protections eased. Culture wars on vulnerable communities. Cuts to social programs. And overall quality of life dropping. That's the CP/PPC plan. But, the ones with transgender trucks and F*** Trudeau flags will be happy. Libs owned.

taxes might be cut (I'd bet a years salary they won't be) but debt will then increase (see previous PC federal governments) leaving the burden on the next government.

One of Tyrell’s closest confidantes, Recruit Ready founder Brad Black, says his pupil, a 4.57 man in the 40-yard dash, is the most polished prospect he’s ever seen coming out of high school and is considered the No. 1 receiver prospect in Canada. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/2023/01/12/winnipeg-receiver-turning-heads

Just for some reference I cross referenced the top names to Dane Brugler's (from the Athletic) full 7 round NFL mock draft and here is where he has the top five players landing: 1. Matthew Bergeron: NFL mock: Round 2, #53 overall 2. Chase Brown: Rd 5, #136 3. Sydney Brown: Rd 4, #104 4. Tavius Robinson: Rd 7, #236 5. Sidy Sow: Rd 5, #146 Robinson might drop out but if he's on the mock there's a good chance he'll sign as an UDFA if he doesn't get drafted... he has the Bears taking Bergeron and Chase Brown

I feel like if PLD goes this summer, they should just blow the whole thing up and rebuild through the draft. They could stockpile a lot assets and trade capital.

It was actually Tuesday: https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/interim-ethics-commissioner-minister-in-law-steps-down-1.6815790 She was hired under the previous CPC gov't but don't let facts get in the way of your fabricated outrage. Poilievre is teaching you well. Clownservatives and manufactured drama. Like PB&J - only it's bitter and caters to useful idiots.

A split is Vegas is probably what they wanted. I just wish we had gotten the second game too. Anyways, it's whiteout time in Winnipeg. The crowd is going to be a huge factor in games three and four.

All I see from his posts are Conservative talking points, so I thought the question needed to be asked. But Heather has proven that you can fund tax cuts by borrowing against your debt. No cuts required! (Results may vary)

I still think he has it in him to be a really great player in this league, but I don't think it'll be in Winnipeg. He needs a fresh start, so hopefully they can deal him without getting completely fleeced.

Will never understand the stupidity required to believe that a career politician like little Milhouse is the guy to understand the average person.
  20. The Jets pace dropped because the top line (especially 55) refused to cut their shifts short when the opportunity arose. The long change really hurt them in the second, but you have to be smarter about making the change when you can. Don't know how long 55 was on for the first goal and the second goal was a result of icing and another gassed line. Jets were winning all the races in the first when their shifts were shorter.

The return of Ehlers would be huge in that regard. Hopefully we see him soon. I suspect he’s dealing with whiplash.

Looks big for his listed size. Smooth, fluid, great hands and cuts. I can certainly see why he’s drawn soo much interest from the major college football programs down south. To me he looks like a guy worth sitting on the pr and developing. Short of some thing awful happening he’s a super high upside guy that’s rare to get cheap little on free. And I mean Jordan reaves is still kicking around the league.

I honestly think it would be best for both parties. He just hasn't developed into the leader they thought he would be and is too inconsistent. But, he still has a great game when he's playing and engaged (and in the offensive zone).

It all comes down to pace. What we saw the first 5 periods of this series, Vegas can't compete, they don't have the horses. As soon as we slowed, it fits Vegas's style of play. We keep at the right clip, we are by far the better team.

  39. Game over... Missed opportunities in the first. And then Vegas took.the game over in the 2nd. Legit Jets could have been coming back to Winnipeg up 2.
  40. This feels like a rope-a-dope game. Jets were flying in the first but exhausted themselves while the Knights hung around. Now it looks like they have no jump as they double shift an ineffective top line.
  41. It’s hard to believe Scheifele was ever considered a possible forward for the Olympic team.

So, let me get this straight, Eichel goes after Pionk? Are they trying to throw the game? I'll trade Pionk for Eichel all day long. They haven't exactly collected the most savvy players in Vegas, have they?

That's fair. There is much that we continue to work on from within - change takes time I can tell you that it is certainly far better than it once was My wife and I actually fostered and adopted a child through CFS, thus we had to put all of our cards on the table They did have many questions, but in end, we were able to proceed

I would assume it’s like a junior player invite. If he doesn’t make the roster he should be able to go to college, junior, through the draft etc.
