I wouldn’t say he’s anything like Sayles, way lower point of attack and not a guy you’re going to flex out to the edge ever. He’s a bull rush Stove type tackle with a bit more athleticism but a shorter wingspan. Former wrestler collegiately, I think he’s got potential to be a good one for us.

Obryan Goodson one of the 5 bombers signings today is a stove clone. Shade under 6’ and 300 but an extremely disruptive nose tackle. I’d love to see another one or two brought in but he’s a great pick up.

Bombers added a few camp bodies Receivers Tre Turner and Manasseh Bailey, Canadian DB Jordan Veltri and the one I’m probably most intrigued by - DT O’Bryan Goodson Interesting note on Tre Turner: might be the first Bomber born in the 2000s, he’s only 22

well, yesterday's announcement really did it...... got our (partial) season tickets selected today, flights for the home opener booked, and plans made for July 7 vs Stamps and Banjo Bowl. Flair sale on now very helpful (hopefully they will actually have planes by this summer...ha) Can't f***ing wait for this summer....

I wish I could remember which column I was reading earlier this week. It suggested that we sometimes confuse stability in government with a government that is out of ideas. It is true that the NDP were eating themselves after Selinger's terrible implementation of the PST increase. Truth is, we needed that increase because Harper was withholding flood aid. Pallister walked into a fantastic situation in which Trudeau not only released the flood money but also increased transfers which made "balancing" the budget ridiculously easy when he took a machete to every government department. I would suggest that Pallister created far more instability in one term than the fourth term NDP. The infighting within the party was their doom. And history repeats.

yeah...Goodson is nothing remotely close to what Sayles was....He has the get under pad level and have O-lineman skating back into the pocket written all over him, and I like that wrestling background...that to me is a key extra skill to have for an interior dline guy...he will know how to move bodies....

Love the wrestling background. Pretty much exactly what you would come up with if you could design an ideal cfl nose. Love the tackle production too. Strong 2+ tackle per game guy with a ton of Tfl. Not often you see dts putting up games of 9 tackles 2 tfl and sack 1 ff. Or getting. Tfl in 6 straight games. A lot of big time plays in the crunch and a long history of winning. Playing in 4 bowl games in 4 years in college is pretty crazy when you aren’t a top tier school. They seem to find real good players each year from these.

On my way in to work today there was a jacked up rig-truck with the usual stickers across the back window and two huge Alberta flags on hockey sticks flying in the bed..... still......in 2023........sigh. But yes, rural AB and all of Sask are just the absolute worst....

The thing is - he is a smart guy that could have explained why the PST increase was required at the time, but didn't. He had a PHD from the London School of Economics and a Master of Public Administration from Queen's University. He was probably one of the most qualified for the role in the province's history, but he really was not a good politician. And here we are with a government of good politicians who are unqualified for their roles.

The Sellinger NDP government imploded due to Sellinger's autocratic leadership style which caused all manner of internal conflict. There were viable candidates to replace him but he would not go, even when the majority of MLAs and NDP supporters wanted him to. Internal polling indicated that with a new leader, the NDP would have stood a chance to retain power, but Sellinger's ego would not allow that. It is said that governments are not defeated by the oppositions, but by internal collapse.

I am ecstatic (I think) to announce that I received a call from the orthopod surgeon's office this morning to advise me that I am booked for my knee replacement sometime in May- date to be announced. Even though I have worked in the healthcare field for some 40 years, I am experiencing some trepidation. I have never had the end of my femur and tibia sawed off before, Gotta be better than 33 months of chronic pain, though.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this one before or not but it is nearing the end of curling season and Willy Dogs will be leaving the Deer Lodge Curling Club for the summer carts. They are currently available on Skip and have some incredible home made food. The burgers are incredible and the fries are some of the best I've had even after riding in a Skip car to get here. Last day of the season is April 8th and the menu starts being reduced April 1st as supplies run out and aren't replenished. Their SOKO burger is a charity burger and in March $3 from every burger goes to Special Olympics. (Shown with the Gluten Free Bun)

So, my particular knowledge is limited to the departments I served. Both were primarily granting departments, meaning that they hand money out and someone else delivers the service or program to the public. There were elements delivered by the departments too but those were very few. When I say new ideas, I mean that they couldn't find solutions to problems. So, they would identify X as a problem but when they (they being the MLAs and their staffers) would suggest things that were not backed by science and/or experts or they would suggest things that didn't work in the past. A lot of throwing money at problems without a plan on how to deliver results. They wanted to do "good" and they meant well but they didn't know how to deliver that.

He’s definitely a dual threat guy. Streveler type speed. He also chucked the ball down field a lot so his % isn’t like most west coast passing teams. Didn’t play the best level of competition but high upside guy. Sayles is a good 5 inches taller and 25lbs lighter. If he was 6’3 and 325+ he’d be on an nfl roster. Perfect niche for us.

  40. If put in the right situation I could see it. But if mtl wasn’t enough idk what would aside from here or maybe to. He might set a record for sacks against with that ol. I don’t get the fascination with having an east coast team. 10 teams border to border doesn’t add any thing. But having an expansive team flop in a couple years because they don’t have the owners market size infrastructure etc would be a big blow. Not to mention the possibility of a team playing in a 10-15kish stadium that’s half empty.

looks like she is a lefty. I remember now, her husband was President, thrown out by a military coup. "The 2009 Honduran coup d'état, part of the 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis,[1][2] occurred when the Honduran Army on 28 June 2009 followed orders from the Honduran Supreme Court to oust President Manuel Zelaya and send him into exile.[3] Zelaya had attempted to schedule a non-binding poll on holding a referendumon convening a constituent assembly to write a new constitution.[4][5] Zelaya refused to comply with court orders to cease, and the Honduran Supreme Court issued a secret warrant for his arrest dated 26 June.[6]Two days later, Honduran soldiers stormed the president's house in the middle of the night and detained him,[7] forestalling the poll.[8] Instead of bringing him to trial, the army put him on a military aeroplane and flew him to Costa Rica. " her predecessor: "On 7 February 2022, Hernández had his visa revoked by the U.S. Department of State, due to involvements in corruption and in the illegal drug trade. On 14 February, he was surrounded by the National police and DEA agents at his residency to process his capture and eventually take him to custody of the United States for possible trials.[12] The U.S. government also requested an extradition against him for his involvement with narcotics.[13][14][15] After an extradition warrant was issued, he decided to surrender to US authorities on 15 February 2022.[16] The same day, local police arrested Hernández at his home in Tegucigalpa.[17] On 21 April, Hernández was extradited to the United States.[18]" his brother : Juan Antonio Hernández Alvarado, known as Tony Hernández (born June 13, 1978),[1] is a Honduran convicted drug trafficker,[2] lawyer, politician, member of the National Party of Honduras[3] and former deputy in the National Congress of Honduras (2014–2018)[4] representing Lempira.[5]He is the brother of Juan Orlando Hernández, the former President of Honduras. at the time ofmthe coup pres.obama, sec. of state hillary clinton did little or nothing to oppose it. she would remember that. central america is just forgotten except for migrants coming to america.
