Yup. Bought Bailey's GC helmet at the locker sale at the end of the year. No Regrets- proudly displayed on my desk in my office.
  2. League needs to fine the Riders and Ballsy for this nonsense.
  3. 6 points
Best jersey decision I have ever made
  4. 5 points
If any guy in the league makes that move it’s Bailey. Culture and team work are what make up that guy.
  5. 5 points
Especially turning down the Riders 😂

I mean - if you make some racist remark and I sign off on it - I am also a POS
  7. There was some rumors around that happening. But nothing official.
  8. 3 points
And I also doubt Bailey went from 130k to 90k...if anything he may have took a slight shave...that Rider pbp guy tho is a right tool...and should be held accountable..or canned by that turd organization for speeding false aquasations. And accept the fact players will only go there for way over market value. And sometimes even that isn't enough.. they are trash thru and thru

Guys don’t want to live in Regina at the best of times.

LOL at the Riders and Ballsy. They don't know Sheed. Family and winning are more important than $ to him.
  11. Found a professional football team the Argos can out draw lol!

He truly is one of us....

That IS a **** ton of cash in a short football career. I know who's going on the back of my next jersey... on a one year deal or not
  14. 3 points
The complete exasperation you can "hear" in that Tweet is hilarious. I actually LOLed...
  15. 3 points
Swing and a miss. Ballsy is so bad at his job. He's an embarrassment to the Rider organization and that's saying A LOT!!!

It's hard to take seriously anything a grown assed guy says when he insists on publically calling himself a nickname that sounded really cool when he was 18. I prefer to respectfully call him Herr Ball in the German style.

What this says to me about Bailey... is it's not about money... it's never been about money... he wants to play football and he wants to play here because he loves the Bombers organization... I suspect he got some things already lined up for his post-playing career... and he'd rather enjoy playing football than have an extra 50 or 60k in his bank account... as other have echoed... absolutely love that guy and hope nothing but the best for him
  19. 2 points
Same dumb **** who goes on about his Gapper players can make more money “off the field” than anywhere else. Basically telling on himself
  20. This is where we are at in society at the moment, say whatever you want with no proof or evidence and you are rarely held responsible. If someone repeats it all the better, people are talking about you and that's the point of certain people

Legitimately the best representation of Rider fans. He is a perfect fit. We should just ban him from the stadium.
  22. It's funny how these US non-NFL leagues come and go. It seems that between high school ball, college ball and the NFL, Americans really don't want/need anything else. Yet at the same time, once this latest league folds, someone with more money than brains will come along and try it again. And at the same time, the usual suspects in Canada will declare that this (insert new league name here) is the end of the CFL. And round and round we go.

Beathard is your standard journeyman clipboard holder. His name is certainly not written in stone. He's insurance to keep around in case Rourke stinks it up. Rourke was always going to have to earn his spot on the depth chart - this is just the guy he has to beat.

Hard to find in professional sports nowadays. It’s becoming a lost art, that being loyalty. Yes I know it’s a business, have to provide for the family blah blah blah. It doesn’t have to be an either or.
  25. I supposed to get mine replaced...well they told me that 10 yrs ago...been holding off...dropped 30 pounds or so of playing weight and eleviated some the discomfort...but was wondering the wait time..u in Winnipeg?
  26. 2 points
Honestly when I heard he signed for less, I thought you know anywhere from 15 to 25. Which is still a lot and as a bomber fan I'd be gracious for, but 60 + cements him as a one of my favorite players
  27. Interesting, Jacksonville re-signs CJ Beathard to backup Trevor Lawrence. I wonder how fair a shot Rourke will get at #2 QB. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/02/24/jaguars-extend-c-j-beathard/

Come on guys, 15 minute cities are a clear plot by the wef to keep us locked into small areas with armed guards and electric fences being fed insects because they are going to ban real meat while the government controls us using the chips they put into the vaccines while the "elite" continue their satanic cult practices which includes pedophilia.

If it gets worse I’m feeling a shock trade coming. I’d say 55 but center/great contract…. The window to win is small. It’s pretty much this year with 55/80/26/36 UFA in 24. Speaking of trades, you can write off Timo Meier apparently. Per Murat - A league source told The Athletic that the Jets are interested in trading for Sharks star Timo Meier but Meier’s camp has indicated that, if acquired, he would not be interested in signing an extension in Winnipeg. Land/Makar out last night too. Imagine the score if they were in 😂

i first watched Gordon Pinsent on the CBC tv series, The Forest Rangers from 1963-66. He plays RCMP Officer Sgt Scott, a Mountie who is stationed at Indian River in Northern Ontario at a Hudson Bay post called Indian River. Rest In Peace, Gordon Pinsent.

all those oligarchs should get a union, those are some serious workplace safety concerns they got there. (this is a joke. the oligarch's union is called "capitalism.") war nerd spew: inflatable weapons go at least as far back as WWII. In the runup to d-day, the Allies had an entire army worth of inflatable tanks staged to attack Pas de Calais. Nazis bought it hook line and sinker; even after the Allies were ashore in Normandy Hitler refused to authorize a full counterattack because he was looking at photos of this massive undeployed floaty army and that convinced him that Normandy was a feint. so yeah, inflatable weapons are old-school antifascist friends.

A public health agency acknowledging the risk of something is being responsible and accountable to the public it serves. There's risk associated with almost anything in this life and it would be disingenuous to claim otherwise. Health Canada also acknowledges the importance of vaccination and the safety of the vaccines/boosters available in this country: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19/vaccines/safety-side-effects.html It's pretty poor form to cherry-pick information and then misconstrue it to try and prop up an already ridiculous opinion.

You will get no argument from me that the Manitoba government also panders to its rural base, knowing full well that there are more people in downtown Toronto that fully support more gun control measures than live beyond our perimeter.

For you all making fun of Alberta for standing up to Ottawa, maybe you forgot that your own government in Manitoba is inline with AB and Sask on this, in that they pledged to not have RCMP resources diverted to enforcing Trudeau's new and arbitrary gun laws. So maybe look to your own before bad-mouthing a Province who protects it's law abiding citizens. This is in regard to the nonsense handgun freeze but if you think the government of Manitoba is going to sit back and do nothing about the newest nonsense in Bill C-21, you've obviously lived your whole sheltered life in Winnipeg and suffer from perimiteritis, never having known someone who hunts. Province of Manitoba | News Releases | Provinces Oppose Federal Use of Police Resources to Confiscate Legally Acquired Firearms (gov.mb.ca) "Provinces joined together this week at the 2022 meeting of federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for justice and public safety to discuss the federal government’s plan to use police resources to confiscate legally acquired firearms. “Manitoba has consistently stated that many aspects of the federal approach to gun crimes unnecessarily target lawful gun owners while having little impact on criminals, who are unlikely to follow gun regulations in any event. In Manitoba’s view, any buy-back program cannot further erode our scarce provincial police resources, already suffering from large vacancy rates, and away from focusing on investigation of violent crimes,” said Manitoba Justice Minister Kelvin Goertzen. Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick called on the federal government to halt plans to use scarce RCMP and municipal police resources to confiscate over 100,000 legally acquired firearms from Canadians. The Prairie provinces had already written to their RCMP divisions indicating that provincial funding should not be used for that purpose." You have to ask yourself, is it rational to possibly condemn someone to death for refusing a vaccine (that sort-of works, you still get sick) for a virus with a survival rate for most people over 99%? I've had covid at least twice, time to stop living in fear my friend, stop the dividing and tribalism that is eating away at our society.
