His IP address suggested it may have been him at the time. But we also had to threaten to ban / suspend him for abusive behaviour. So I give it 50 / 50 if it was just a troll using a VPN or actually Mike Kelly.

The greatest moments in football every game. It's the all mighty NFL!! The players and refs are superior!! No games are boring!!! It's THE NFL!!! I expect GREATNESS ON EVERY PLAY!!! SUPERSTARS MAKING NO MISTAKES EVER!!!!!! IT'S THE NFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! ....This coffee is strong...

We spent most of the game handing them the ball. Thankfully, the Riders have no idea what to do with a football (or soap and toothpaste).
  8. 5 points
meanwhile the Bombers were just pumping out HoF QBs left, right and centre after Kelly released Glenn...
  9. There's a good reason - if not several - Mike Kelly hasn't coached professionally in well over a decade. **** him.

Hall said he was young and playing a lot more games, so he was hitting a wall. I think Hall meant that he hit a mental wall and needed some time for R&R and to watch. I don't think it's more than teaching a young player about being a pro and growing into that role, physically and mentally.

Yeah Bryant was rumored to be heading here and was if I remember correctly one of the 1st FA to sign a contract that day.

On the CBC national news, they interviewed one of Ms. Smith's supporters as to what his priorities were. He looked for all the world like he was freshly out of a survivalist bunker in Montana, but his priorities were reducing taxes and improving healthcare. Didn't seem to be able to explain how reducing government income would improve medical services, though. Alberta is trying to retreat into the Dark Ages.

What a sad, sad day for Alberta. Just listen to some of the garbage she spewed in her acceptance speech tonight: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/united-conservative-party-to-announce-new-leader-1.6606261 Pitiful rhetoric - and quite contradicting. The silver lining is a provincial election is around the corner, so hopefully she and her party of regressive shitstains are booted from the legislature at that time.

They ****** his career up by mishandling his injury. They also gave up on Glenn- which was just idiotic.

https://3downnation.com/2022/10/06/former-cfl-head-coach-mike-kelly-calls-modern-canadian-game-bastardized-nfl-nickel-football/ He claims he was “cross-haired” by “some people” while serving as the head coach of the team in 2009 ‘Be careful now because they have more ink than you have anger.’ The darn media railroading a perfectly stable genius, as usual
  16. 4 points
Postgame, after that debacle while driving home.......listening to MK suggest that our fans should be MORE LIKE RIDER FANS. Probably the angriest I have ever been, following this team. Quite a few of our veteran players under performed, but Glenn was made the scapegoat, who went to Hamilton, as they beat us out of a playoff spot, the next two years. Brilliant. Comporting himself like some 12 year old.......was simply the icing on the cake.

For me, it was when i was told he banned Richard Harris and another coach, who i can't remember which, from coaches meetings. How can you be successful if you're doing that?
  25. 3 points
Call me crazy, but I like Parker more each game. If he could just play a little tighter, he has the burst to knockdown/pick off a lot of passes. He's a pretty sure tackler as well.

Could be a physical wall too and is just wearing down late in games. More snaps than he's played in a season in his whole life.

I don't mind that he gave up on Glenn. I just think the way he did it was idiotic. He cut him adrift without any semblance of a plan and then blamed the fans for asking WTF? Kelly should have hung onto Glenn, either got him back to 2007 Glenn or at least had the time to find something better than Stefan Lefors or dragging Michael Bishop out of CFL exile as his plan. Kelly had a massive amount of passion and drive to make the Bombers better...on that I have no doubt....problem is that he let that passion call the shots instead of using his head and it cost us dearly. He acted before he thought things through and that very rarely leads to success. Letting most of our OL walk away in FA was pretty problematic too.

then toss in Massie...Cooper...Hassell...Lawrence...and see what they bring...we know what the others do, also would also be nice to get some chemistry with them as well with starters if thats who we end up rolling with...We know what Holm and Parker have...seen it for a while now and they not magically gonna flip a switch and become lock down...if anything in the pressure games to close yr...and playoffs...and teams cranking it up a few notches they likely get exposed even more....but whatevs And this could be a very key game for us...especially if the Lions win tomorrow too...then pressure is on us

ukrainian foreign minister to elon musk. The billionaire’s comments ignited a torrent of criticism online, including from Andrij Melnyk, Ukraine’s former Ambassador to Germany, who lashed out at Musk with expletive-laced insults about Musk’s business. “**** off is my very diplomatic reply to you,” Melnyk said in a Tweet. “The only outcome [is] that now no Ukrainian will EVER buy your f…ing tesla crap. So good luck to you [sic].”
  30. There was a poster on here in 2019 or earlier from Philadelphia that called himself “The Source”. I’m pretty sure it was Kelly. Constantly criticizing the Bombers and Osh. Haven’t seen much of him lately.

Seriously the system should be if the party leader resigns during her/his tenure, the next party leader should be giving the tag interim Premier until the next election with limited authority to push anything that wasn't in the original mandate. What a **** system we have, especially with Conservative 'Leaders' who can't see to last their full four years.

This. He seems like a decent guy who unfortunately still believes that the answer to traffic congestion is roads, roads, and more roads. I see him as the 'more of the same old mediocrity' candidate. Now that Loney seems to have enough momentum that I can switch my vote from Murray to him without much fear of Gillingham winning, that's what I'm going to do.

so just a bit of back story.... and this is actually kind of insane to think about in retrospect, but do you guys remember the year we grabbed Big Stan in FA? We were actually trying to get Sir Vincent Rogers (yikes...) and missed on that, so they went out and got Bryant, who of course, is even better. And I'd been running around doing stuff that day, and 17to85 sends me a text "Kyle Walters just long cocked everyone in the league..." and we've been laughing about that ever since. I feel like Walters does this a lot. Just the best GM in the league...

I think someone on this forum said they didn't think PP would be able to stand up to the national spotlight. More people aware of the garbage he's spewing, its harder to hide from people pointing out the discrimination and lies. Obviously the tags existed on his videos for a long time, but it was only discovered and made public because he is leader of the party. Hopefully people still have enough confidence in journalism and news agencies do their due diligence and research to expose more of this sh**. Hopefully Canadians care enough to vote and not allow him power.

Aside from misleading our block about our street renewal, I can't think of any of this baggage. That being said, I can not vote for anyone Conservative-adjacent. He's pretty moderate, but why vote moderate when I can vote progressive? I think he'd make a decent provincial PC leader, but I still wouldn't vote for him.
