Been watching the Bombers for many years, through the bad years and good, and I’m loving every minute of these last few seasons. I'm pretty sure there's a gentlemen's agreement (huzzah!) among the league GMs to not do that sort of thing. Nobody wants it done to them, so they don't do it to others. I don't think we'd be the ones to open the door to that sort of thing.

A player "disappearing", especially a receiver can be do to many things, not just him under performing....could be scheme...teams taking that option away...hence unknows like Schoen/Agudosi get more balls, could be he's the 3rd...4th option....or he could be required to clear out a zone, and or take on a block....and as reported here and in media...and importantly coaches/players...Bailey has done that in spades. When ball comes to him....he generally makes the play...I can only think of one bad drop this year, but every receiver will have those...I can think of many contested and clutch catches tho...key blocks...taking coverage away from others...on a 12-1 team....Team...sum of it's parts....and thats what he is....a part doing his job...and doing it well

I know the bar is set low on what we give the Riders org credit for... but literally every team in professional sports would allow their player to attend something like this. But I do agree with your first comment and wish his family all the best... as much as I love making fun of the riders and their players... that earlier comment about his "wife or his dog" was was pretty low brow/classless

Some people are misinterpreting what Baily does on this team... he does get targets... he makes clutch catches... he does make very difficult contested catches... he does all the little things really well (which has been discussed ad nauseum).... I don't think he disappears at all, just maybe on the stats sheet... the only thing Baily hasn't done this year is put up monster stats... but is there a better receiver than Baily at making contested 12 yard catches on a scramble play on 2nd and long?... I want him on the field all day on game day.

Maybe it'll be easier to pry Darby from Hamilton after we've played them.

Somebody around here said Holm was a good cover guy when he played in ND (I can’t remember if it’s UND or NDSU)… I can’t say I really noticed him in the last game… and that’s kind of a good thing for a db… since he’s been around since day one and not just for the last week… I like giving him a shot against Hamilton and if he can’t handle that team then time to move on…

You will learn that having a different opinion on this site equals name calling and a lot of people throwing a hissy fit that you are not agreeing with them. As much as this site is fun to read during game days, in between the games you will see lots of salty old timers shooing away the non-regulars. Bailey did make a great catch and had probably his best game. On this site over the last season or two people HAVE stated that they feel Bailey is hot and cold and someone who does disappear for games at a time. The Blue had the same issues with Darvin Adams where he'd stand out or make a clutch play but then you wouldn't see him do it again for 3 more games. Your original comment about him as been discussed before so I don't understand the push back besides some folks who tend to only look at players with a "What have you done for me lately" kind of memory. Nobody has ever questioned Bailey's commitment for the team, dude is a stand up guy and never dogs it and always puts in the effort. However if we had a fully healthy roster and the Blue were able to sign an American receiver from the NFL... Bailey would be the odd man out. He's a great depth player that follows the system and who shouldn't cost a fortune to keep (like Lawler) and he stays healthy so he's a good guy to keep around. He has improved each year so it is possible that he could eventually be a "star".

It must take a lot to leave the party and risk losing your job to do something like this. Lots of respect for Conservatives that do this in the name of actually staying true to traditional Conservative values rather than chasing the alt-right misinformation-fed vote. The US needed Republicans to massive oppose Trump, and lost their opportunity in the sake of power-hunting and fear. Unfortunately actual values mean little when power is up for grabs. I would hope that the majority of Canadians see this for what it is, but we've seen members of this forum repeatedly use Liberal, again incorrectly, as an attack. Continually screaming BIAS!!!! towards legitimate journalism weakens journalism and news in the eyes of some Canadians and leaves them prone to believing that agencies like Rebel News are unbiased.
